Hey Buck I have a question,have you ever had bleaching from your lights? The biggest hgk that catches the delay twice on the rails has some yellowing of the upper fan leaves but none of the rest do so im not sure what it is.I cant seem to find any difinitive pics unless hash tips is bleaching which I dont think it is.

Nope... almost got you a shot. I have a 180 watt panel side-lighting the haze. It has been 8" to 12" away the entire time...

Take a plant and experiment (not one of your pretties a bag seed or something)

thanks X thats good to know that plant was one of the ones the fungus gnats were hanging around.hopefully the sns 209 has done its job and they dont like the taste of the plants anymore.Im seeing dead gnats all over the place but they are still around.I think im going to get some mosquito dunks. Do they work for soil feedings as well? I feed my girls in soil right from the res so it should work?

It works great with soil. Pre-fill a container to use for watering your plants. Stick a chunk of dunk in it, and water your plants/mix up nutrients with this water. You could also break it up and sprinkle on your soil. The bacteria is only harmful to specific bugs, fungus gnats being one.

Jon and X ... X is right on, put them in everything and I make "traps" by taking a dish of water and putting a dunk in it.

so that picture of the lake brings to mind a story about this newlywed couple that rented a cabin on the lake for their honeymoon.
the innkeeper checks in this couple to his cabins by the lake. as soon as he gets done the new bride and groom take off for their cabin laughing and having fun. the innkeeper watches as the groom picks his bride up and carries her across the threshold.
a few minutes go by and the groom goes running down to the lake with his fishing gear. this makes the innkeeper wonder.
after a few hours the innkeeper looks out his window and notices that the groom is still out there fishing. this leaves the owner scratching his head. later on as it started to grow dark he looked out at the lake and sure enough there was the groom still fishing. the innkeeper thought to himself "hmmm I reckon he is waiting to go get her after dark".
well the night passed and the innkeeper wakes up and still the groom is out there fishing. of course he is now very curious about why the guy has not gone in and had a little fun with his bride. just as he puts his coat and shoes on to go and ask the groom whats up ? the groom drops everything and goes running in the honeymoon cabin only to come running back out to the lake just a few minutes later.
now the innkeeper has just got to know whats going on and goes down to the lake where the groom is still fishing. he asks the groom what are you doing man? you just got married. how come you arent in there with your new wife you know getting you some?"
the groom's reply "well I cant do that with her as she has gonarhea." the innkeeper then asks "well maybe you could you know get her from behind" again the groom says"no no she has diarhea". "what what?" said the innkeeper "ok how about a BJ?" the groom says "oh no way, she has piarhea." now the innkeeper says "what the hell did you marry her for?" the groom replies "because she's got worms and I love to go fishing"

OK folks a little news.

I started using a new bloom nutrient ... and WOW. So I was getting low and went to buy some more. I asked for help and the folks asked why that one? I told them about the amazing results and one of them said they suspected PGR's... I was like what? He explained plant growth regulators and further scared me with the fact that at combustion they become harmful... oh and pointed out a product called ROCK that of course had NO PGR's. I looked at the bottle and I had bagged a sample the week before!!! So I checked the price $69.95 HOLY SMOKES!!!!!! So I told the guy I had bagged a sample and would try it... wind out of rip off salesmans sails

So when I got home I fired a letter to Atami and asked about PGR's... and started using the ROCK to be safe. The ROCK product stinks, literally stenches while the blossom builder smells like flowers. The ROCK seems to work fine but is rotten to work with.

Today I finally got a response from Atami, it said

" Thank you very much for your interest in our product!

I can gladly say that it doesn’t contain any PGR’s so its good for food crops."

Awesome!!!!... I switch back next feed.

Then I am going to print out the info and give the two sales folks a day they will not soon forget (I am an ogre and you don't want to piss off an ogre) I am also not afraid to make scene calling all folks attention to rip off assholes. They are lucky I did not purchase that nasty juice because I would get a refund or they would be wearing it!!!

Tincture - Oils

I am currently experimenting with the tincture that I posted earlier. I was interested in the fact it was not "cooked" so this is what I have tried and how it worked so far. I was holding out for Everclear but I don't drink anymore and never find myself near the packy so after reading it burned too much for some I decided to use the vodka I had in the cupboard. I took about a cup of vodka and took about 10 grams of dry ice kief and mixed. Into the freezer it went for days and I shook it every day. After a while I strained it twice through coffee filters and it produced a honey colored liquid, then back in the freezer. I was surprised at all the plant matter left over... I will not use the 90 bag again. OK so next morning a teaspoon under the tongue... it burned but not too much. I swallowed it so I got a mix of instant high and that body high from eating. So I can tell you now without a doubt you can get relief from medicine made without cooking it. It was not strong enough for me so I put it out to evaporate. Then I started thinking that I have a bag of the shake left from the dry ice and vodka! I took it all, 2-4 zips, put cheesecloth in a bowl and put in the shake. I took about 2-3 cups of vodka and poured it in till it was all covered. I did not let it sit. I twisted the cloth and drained into a bowl. This I strained 3-4 times through coffee filters. Unlike the nice honey colored liquid I got from the kief extraction this was dark right off the bat so I decided to reduce it. I got it quite a bit done an decided to cool it. It looks like it is going to be a sweet oil... so that got me thinking about the honey colored extraction that is not strong enough... they are both in the boiler reducing as I type. The vodka allowed a much more pleasant aroma like buttered spinach when reducing compared to other extraction liquids I have tried. I will report what I find. My plan is to mix the honey oil with honey to allow me to dissolve it under my tounge pleasantly instead of a burning liquid. The dark oil... not sure yet depends on how disgusting it is I will not soon throw away shake from a dry ice extraction again.

Reduced kief extraction by 1/2 and added that amount back in honey, BINGO! This actually tastes great! ... in the am I will give it a test.

I see the buds have nice glands. But I am interested in the furry purple leaf stem. Could you post a close up of one of the purple leaves and stem? I think there's gold in them thar hills.
