Well I had to crash last night too. I killed some clones due to my lack of vigilance, bummer. Can't help it. Looked at the baby pics I took the other day, they suck and I have no energy at the moment to take more. I have to feed tonight no matter how I feel and I will take pics, can't promise I will post 'em though.

Hey Buck I have a question,have you ever had bleaching from your lights? The biggest hgk that catches the delay twice on the rails has some yellowing of the upper fan leaves but none of the rest do so im not sure what it is.I cant seem to find any difinitive pics unless hash tips is bleaching which I dont think it is.

Can u get a pic Jon? Could be light bleach. Have u ruled out magnesium deficiency?
I ll get some pics when the lights come on tonight but I dont think its a cal/mag issue.I give them 6 mil per gallon and the yellowing is different,if I didnt know better i'd say N defficiency.that holy grail kush is a pain in the ass strain in hydro,the pk looks happier than pigs in shit lol

no its kind off a uniform fading, and other than the odd leaf on other hgk its pretty much just the one plant. Its been there for over a week now...im baffeled. its still filling in nicely to.I figured it might be bleaching because the lights are to close and its catching the delay twice so I turned the delay so the lights are constantly moving now hopefully thats all it was.
Damn. Might be time to consider leds if they're bleaching now lol.
I cant look directly at these ones when all the switches are on bro I get spots in my vision for a bit

Jon, food for thought, and by no means am I inferring anything here -- if you have any bugs, they can weaken the plants ability to absorb bright powerful light, and can lead to light bleaching that wouldn't happen otherwise. LED's certainly can bleach plants, too, as they allow you to get pretty strong focused light up close due to lower temps. Not saying that's your issue (either thing) but food for thought (I didn't know the bug thing until it happened to me and I started doing a little research!).

thanks X thats good to know that plant was one of the ones the fungus gnats were hanging around.hopefully the sns 209 has done its job and they dont like the taste of the plants anymore.Im seeing dead gnats all over the place but they are still around.I think im going to get some mosquito dunks. Do they work for soil feedings as well? I feed my girls in soil right from the res so it should work?
It works great with soil. Pre-fill a container to use for watering your plants. Stick a chunk of dunk in it, and water your plants/mix up nutrients with this water. You could also break it up and sprinkle on your soil. The bacteria is only harmful to specific bugs, fungus gnats being one.
