I'm going to prototype something like this with bamboo this week...looking great.

Check out the clones. A few rooted. Two really well. The others are backkups going to ultimately choose the best 4-8 since I have about 12 total. If I get 8 good ones I'll leave em in 3gal pots and less veg time. Get em flowering quick so I can veg my next grow.Let the games begin!

Hey deecee. I see you have a cloning tutorial in your sig but still having trouble. I use root riot plugs but any medium will work. If you want some help In your cloning process let me know in a message. I also did a cloning tutorial with videos and I try to explain it in the most simple way.Good work on the clones! I haven’t had any luck yet with peat pellets
Thanks I definitely want to. I don't wanna waste anything. I cut every branch that didn't make it to the top on every plant except peach puree. Mainly cuz I don't want another cbd plant. So 3 of them have no branches that won't make it to canopy.right on man they look great. Sounds like a good plan. I know you might not need more butif you have a little space for your tray and dome it’s good to get in a habit of taking clones even when you don’t need them. You will get really good at it and you will always have plants at the perfect size. I’m rooting stuff 75-80 percent of the time. But I totally understand if you can’t or don’t want to.
Thanks. I used peat pellets like shottafire said but mostly soil. The peat pellets stayed together obviously while a few of the soil ones fell apart. But they all rooted so far. I watched @shottafire videos before I planted them..Good work on the clones! I haven’t had any luck yet with peat pellets
Thank you and I appreciate the post. I'm fully interested in doing the side by side. I will send you a PM.Missed your reply there, didn't mean to drop out.
Everyone's philosophy is different for sure about budgeting your grow supplies, but generally I agree: what's the cheapest way to get the most, dankazz bud you can in line with how you grow?
So there's definitely a balance there to be had between cost in and output quality and amount.
My philosophy for Vulx is that you should have whatever you're doing dialed in, and then add Vulx last.
If you're growing in a 5 gal and everything is down to a science and you get ~60g of bud after drying, then you have a baseline.
Then you've got to ask yourself how much a gram is worth to you. Is it $10 where you get it? That's a good start. "For every extra gram I get, that's $10 worth of weed I get to smoke."
Now, you spend $15-30 (depending on your pot) on an additive, you've got a baseline to compare it to, and you do a true side-by-side.
Is there an increase in amount and/or quality? How much is that worth to you? Is that value more than you paid for the input?
I don't want to be seen as peddling an expensive amendment without an understanding of the need to ask these questions, and I urge you to ask them.
And this is precisely what I do with commercial clients, by the way. They're dialed in. They know how much they get from a plant/strain, etc. So we do a side-by-side.
It's no different for a home grower except that you pay a lot more $ per gram than they get paid for it, so it's theoretically easier for someone growing for themselves to get a good return on the investment.
It's hard to do a money back guarantee on this stuff since there are so many things that can go wrong in a grow, but I'm working on maybe testing the idea of a first-time buyer discount or something along those lines.
I am confident that the answer to the third question will be "yes" so it's a matter of finding out how to lower that barrier to entry effectively and fairly for both sides. (I'm not a huge, well-backed corporation that can hand out that much free stuff).
That said, I am definitely doing 85g sample sachets in the near future. Throw it in the 1 gallon starts, and by the time you're ready to plant up, check for a difference. EZ. Use the code on your sachet to get a discount when you order your bucket (or something, still hashing it out).
Anyway, yeah, I'll do a sample for your 7 gals if you want to do a side by side journal. Shoot over an address when you're about a week from putting clones dirt.
I think two identical clones (from the same mother) is the only way to really judge. There can be so much variation between different phenos of the same strain it would be lucky two get two different seeds to produce the same plant.Damned ... 6.5 gallons. How many plants you feeding with that ? That tent is full wall to wall. Looks beautiful in there. The trimming is going to take forever but well worth it in the end.
I think you started flower about 7 - 10 days ago ... correct ? So when is it you start using BE ? Are you using the sweet candy also ?
I'd like to try both on my next grow. Are you going to use the BE on all plants or do 1 plant without so we can see the difference ? It would be nice to see the difference of 2 plants of the same strain with & without BE.
