Thanks. They're finally really vegging. That's some nice new growth Havoc!
Looking good, @Havocsm1! I notice that you already have sticks in place in your pots. Is this a common practice among growers? Do I risk damaging my roots if I wait until late in the grow to insert plant sticks? Thanks. They're finally really vegging.
Thanks, @Havocsm1. I use bamboo sticks with blunt, not pointy, edges. Could that make a difference?Nah they have pointy ends just place them gently. I even have mine placed between the pot and soil so it's minimally invasive. I'll pull them out when I transplant to 7gal. Then as you see in the pics they won't go in the soil.
I can detatch them pretty easily. Plus they come with ties and stuff. I'll use plant ties to tie the branches to the sticks. Pretty much playing it as i go. By the time they're flowering and in the 7gal they'll be more permanent.
Not 100% sure but I doubt it would hurt much. Maybe try and sharpen the end as much as you can. I know bamboo is hollow so it may be hard to sharpen to a point. Thanks, @Havocsm1. I use bamboo sticks with blunt, not pointy, edges. Could that make a difference?
