My new grow space

It's cool watching your space take shape, Guy. The propagation tent is brilliant repurposing. To prevent light leak under the doors check out automatic door bottom seals. I used one on the main bathroom along with door seals and it's pitch black in there when closed. You'll be drawing air from the veg room, which is good, because your rooms are so well sealed that you'll pull a vacuum with the exhaust fan running otherwise.

We will probably start out around the same scheduled UA. I figure around the 1st of the year. That still gives me time to make sure there are no bug survivors left in my house.

Massachusetts will only let me have 6 plants per person, 12 plants max. Maine supposedly is going to base their plants off of sizes. A person can only flower 6 plants at once and can only have 12 more plants of a certain size (Over 18 or 20 inches....Ms Stank printed out the actual laws somewhere). But what I like about it is that you can grow unlimited plants under that 18-20 inches (as long as they aren't flowering) size. That would make pheno hunting so much easier....throw 100 seeds and start growing a strain. Start weeding the weak ones as they grow until you get down to 12 decent ones and then select 6 to flower out, per person if you chose. I could pheno hunt so much better in Maine than here in Massachusetts. And if we move there (assuming New Hampshire doesn't become legal recreationally and with laws similar to Maine) I am going to steal your sideways tent for starting seedlings!

Thanks brother, actually I stole the idea from the owner of the hydro shop. When the tent went on sale, he explained how a lot of the guys were using them vertically and laying them down. The only problem I'm going to run into is ventilation when the time is right, I will have to figure out how to go from flower through my cloning tent and into my veg tent so that I have no light contamination. Not a big deal, I'll figure it out.

I've heard that the legalization process here in Canada may be postponed by up to six months as the opposition government throws a wrench into the plans LOL. I guess it's a small price to be considering the fact that Quebec and Manitoba residents won't be allowed to grow their own medicine at all.

I like the idea of the pheno hunting, I already have a pretty good idea of what my favorite is..... although I would love to do some cross-pollination like you have.

Honestly I can't wait to just grow one lol. I'm thinking about mothering one and cutting clones for round 1.

I'm saving mine for the spring to grow outdoors; I'm not going to waste those seeds in my cramped little space until I'm working on the auto version of them.

I've got a small cloner on the way. My plan (I think) is to start 1 or 2 of your ATF seeds soon (hopefully end up with a hen), get her a couple of weeks to a month old and then start taking cuttings. That way I don't waste seeds and we'll end up with my run of six females for the 1st full run in my new space.......Yeah buddy, as promised, I'll dedicate my 1st run to my mentor and friend......as a thank you.

What most of you don't see if our friend behind the scenes. Hence the reason in last month's MOTM contest that he got my vote, instead of voting for myself lol....

Whoever it is who nominates me....truly I am grateful. Not sure I'm ready to run with the big boys/girls yet but I have to say that I am having a blast with my new family!

Nothing would make me happier to win MOTM amongst peers that I didn't even realize existed 8 months ago......When I first started growing in May of this year, I never for a second thought that I would become a part of an amazing Community like this. Win or lose, I don't care..... I've still won.
