My new grow space

Thanks Stank.....funny how the old fuckers with bad backs seem to find each other eh, lol. Honestly though, thank God I found you guys..... You guys are my International family LOL.

As ghetto as it might sound, I am just looking for some 5 foot long wire cage shelves that will support a good amount of weight for now, as my plants grow I'm not sure what I'm going to do LOL.....my learning curve. Also, I think I'm going to flower 6 plants every 30 days, so I'm not sure how tight it will be in my space. I want to be able to get in and get access for watering purposes, so my numbers may change accordingly. How tall, was your tallest ATF..... Pot included approximately?

Well I had mine all tied down......but even with it tied down they were were up to 40 inches tall before i put them in the scrog next. I had one I grew outside as an experiment and it got over 6 feet tall easily.

They are very branchy. You will see the sativa in them easily. Buds will be flopping over if you don't provide support. They will be light and fluffy but if you have a good light, it will bulk up in the very end and really pick up some density if you are patient. I really recommend topping low and spreading the two branches so all the side branching takes over.

That's all I use, my old 5 gallon pales I used when I first started growing hold the wire shelf up.

I'm having a bad arthritis day myself. I was just in a tank and I had to roll out of it rather than climb. Not much sleep last night. Hope you're feeling better today.

Sleep is so important for your body to recover... I hope you had a good night rest This morning Flytier :)

You're absolutely correct, and I took today off work to catch up. I just had two nights of shitty sleep. Tuesday is normally the third day of my work week but this time around, if I had went in, it would have been day nine; I'm on call this week which means it was my turn to work the weekend, plus overtime. Don't get me wrong - I'm not complaining about the overtime, I'm just tired and hurting. I'll work one of my days off later.

Funny kind of how your body tells you what to do...... Make sure you take some time for yourself Fly.....it can only benefit.

Okay that's what I needed to know, hence the reason for your two scrog nets. I'm not sure on my exact configuration yet, but I am definitely going to use the copper pipe for my frames again, as I found them to be very sturdy and very forgiving. I can also Mount them on the walls quite easily ....wherever needed. Might make 4 of them 2' wide, by the length of my room for different stages, thus allowing me space between them before watering and maintenance.

Preaching to the choir Guy. I'm not killing myself for that place anymore. I got some mystery weed and trichome (kief?) cookies today, so I'm gonna LST my KK CBD a little more (it's almost a daily thing now), check out two babies that popped up overnight, and strap in and ride the waves. My muscles are relaxed awful nice right now, and that makes the biggest difference. I'm gonna get a few pics in a little while; I'll post them shortly.

Just a quick thought at work here..... Would growing a companion neem tree in my grow room help with insects? Not that I have insects, just wondering LOL.

From what I've read, it appears to be effective for certain groups of insects, but I can't specify exactly which ones right off.

I have been considering cloning my rosemary plant and putting a small cutting of one in each of my pots as a companion plant to my cannabis plants. I figure since most of the anti-mite sprays seem to have rosemary oil in them, why not try a rosemary cutting.

ATFs will get very big (footprint wise) if you spread them and keep them low. Lots and lots of nice uniform buds. Its not a strain that is a main cola strain. I am in the process of harvesting one of my ATF plants about a week early....so I will show you want I mean. Give me a few minutes to take some pictures and post them.

I'll have to go through my wife's essential oils and see what she has. Although companion plants of a few species planted as co-pilots around your grow sounds like a good idea as well. I guess the oils are better for me because I'm starting to use smaller pots.

Well I have been trying to post pictures of it but I can't seem to upload to the gallery for some damn reason. Has anyone else had issues with uploading pictures?

Seems lots of people are having issues! I know I am. Keep getting errors.

Same here Van...... I don't have anything in particular to upload, just trying it for you LOL.

I have a footprint in mind for my racks off my floor, just if 6' is a possibility, I'm going to need to make the tall side of the room count. I'm thinking racking in a horseshoe shape as you walk into the middle of the room. I'm going to make the room access in the centre of the wall using a pocket door as KCCO 77 suggested. I'd like to do a 6 plant rotation every 30 days.

Great idea Van. I've got rosemary growing in the kitchen too. I'll do the same and keep cuttings constant if it helps.
