Girls are looking good so far. No deficiencies....not that i expected any. Still just the FFOF soil and some water PHd to 6.5 .
Preflowers showed up on my Kings kush today. Pardon the LST wire.
My "normal" Snow White..... looking a bit ragged due to LST. I can't stand no stress lol.
My "freak", has outgrown her ugly duckling stage......aint she pretty!

Hey buddy, I'll do my part and try to think of some names during the day today..... I'll try my best anyways lol. Do me a favor though, chime into my other post where I was discussing LED versus HPS systems and put in writing what you're doing and how you control temperatures? I did purchase an ink bird thermostatic controller but I am coming to the point now where I am going to be insulating my space and running all of my in-wall wiring so all of the potential situations that I can review the better. Also, wanted to wish you and your bride safe drive......
No offense, but hopefully we won't see you on here for the next 2 weeks LOL.

Really just the soil. I did add liquid fish (high N) fertilizer and bat guano at one point but otherwise just the soil so far. This is an experiment to me too WC, seeing if I get any deficiencies. I'll add molasses, mammoth P, More guano etc if needed but so far so good.
Are you brewing teas Guy? or just mixing those things into the water and letting it sit for a bit and then watering with it?

I did Brew some teas 4 the house plants around the house and they are doing amazing. For those I used my air pump with the manifold. For the marijuana, I only mixed it... Reason being I discovered that the air pump is quite loud and probably not suitable for inside the house. Not that my partner cares, but I'm trying to keep it as stealth as possible from the kids.
I just started my experimentation with teas this week. I picked up an air pump and two air stones for mine. Loving it so far, nice and quiet (well its not heard over the carbon filter and fan) so no additional noise. I have noticed my teas are pulling the pH of the water down to where it needs to be without using anything other than the tea components.
My thought process was to work on getting the soil dialed in so I can go water only the entire grow if need be. But I want to start mastering teas to take the grow to the next level.

Great idea and no I hadn't noticed the pH difference but I will definitely make a point of checking that I try to keep my pH ideal at 6.5. I heard another great idea about suspending the pump from a bungee cord, that's what I'm going to try next.
I've gathered everything I can without a road trip as far as the soil and amendments as part of your recipe. I will see about the rest including my base soil over the next month or so so that I can let it cook in some large pails until I'm ready to use it. That might be a separate thread altogether LOL.
Yeah this first batch of tea using 1.5 tablespoons of bat guano (10-3-1), 1.5 tablespoons of seabird guano (0-11-0), EWC, 1/8 teaspoon of dried ground kelp, and 2-3 tablespoons of blackstrap molasses in 4 gallons of water had brought my pH from 9.3 down to 6.9. I will start the next batch sooner and let it brew another day and see if it will drop it a little closer to 6.5
