Let me take a quick poll here, I'm looking at a finished flower area of about 6 ft x 8 ft long. Should I go for just a door into a drywalled space or should I buy a grow tent and use that?
Depends on environment of room and most of all strength of light depth penetration and sq ft coverage .

My preference would always be to have a grow room as opposed to a grow tent, but I don't think there's a wrong answer here Guy.

If all plants are going to be in the same stage of growth (bloom or veg) at the same time then I would just make it a grow room to maximize space.

Room it is. I'll definitely reuse my 3 X 3 tent strictly for veg. I will then use my cabinet on the wall strictly for cloning and seedlings.

That's a nice robust looking girl. Looks like a prime LST candidate. I'll start a bit of training on mine when I get them to their final pots in probably a week or two. Gotta pick up a bag of vermiculite. Nice stuff and I ran out so there's none in my starter pots.

I forget if the autos are good with LST. I'd hate to harm my final results but it's so hard to keep my hands off them LOL. Luckily, I made sure they went into their final pots after they sprouted.
My double header, is really looking freaky, two of the leaves that I thought were separate are actually one leaf LOL. All sorts of weird shit going on with this pair. Remember, these two came from one seed only. Obviously they're twins.. This is so new to me..... no idea what causes genetic mutations like this.

I'm not that heavy into botanical genetics (yet); can't give you the details at this point. I think autos are good for LST but not topping. You should be good.

Autos are great with LST. They are even ok with topping if you do the topping early enough. Their genetics have improved greatly in the last year or two by all accounts. I think I heard 21 days kind of being the cut off on topping so take it for what its worth.

I am watching that mutant closely. I have seen some mutants become absolute monsters.
Hey Guy. I meant to weigh in on, either grow tent or just room. I know you already picked room. Good choice. I love my room. Your not limited in where to put things. If wanted can always leave room to walk around your plants.
O side note. My bro and his girlfriend are staying at my house during my honeymoon, instead of in-laws. So no moving the grow, in fact I have two lights on the way.
