My new grow space

Trout season opener and salmon season opener are a pile of fun for us. We usually can catch these sort of rainbow all winter long as long as the rivers / tributaries are open. These rainbows come up kind of confused during the winter looking for access to early spawning grounds. Pretty sure that these rainbows don't spawn successfully, almost all of these are stocked fish. The average was about 8lbs. Our salmon average is about 20lbs lol. Pretty sure New York State also has an extensive stocking program as well. We are very lucky to have such an amazing Inland resource.

@Van Stank.......you know you're always welcome brother.

Do you not have a fan controller? I think it would make a huge difference myself
I do have a fan speed controller actually..... In fact I have two. One is controlling my 6 in fan which extract the hot air out of my flower space, and one extract the hot air out of my veg area and exhausts it into my flower room. The one that goes from veg to flower has been turned off for about 3 weeks now. It has made quite a difference in temperature. That being said I'm still a bit on the high side during the daytime, but well within range. Lighting changes, timer changes Etc seem to have done the trick for now, AC is definitely something I'm going to have to look into. Seeing as I was using my 400 watt MH bulb for heat, seeing as winter is now over as well, I have switched back over in my vegetative area to led. The plants haven't skipped a beat.

Speaking of plants in my veg tent, here's the girls below. If you remember, these girls were in pretty bad shape 2 weeks ago when I discovered the Mite problem and had to cull a 50% of my plants. Everyone doing pretty good now. All 6 in soil are in Stank soil now, and doing great. These ATF have a few burnt Leaf tips, but in the grand scheme of things..... No big deal.

Also, my Crown Royal has made great strides after her early high PPM count that slowed her down so much..

All 6 have 2+ weeks left in veg, til my flower room is cleaned out.

Flower.....omg! I love going in there and just checking out the large buds on the blueberry..... I got to say I'm super proud of this one.

Also my ATF.. ...
Finally one of my Peyote cookies. I have to say that I am really liking the structure of these plants, how aggressively they grow and the frost production for their age. Comparatively between these and the white rhino directly beside them. These plants are larger and definitely more robust. Even though both have the same attributes on paper. Super pretty for day 30 of flower.

Finally my cloning/seedling area.
All 12 of my seeds have popped. Although one of my Blue dream seems to be a little bit lagging in her efforts LOL. That being said, I did battle stretch for about 4 days until I found these tall pots at my hydro shop. I buried the plants a little deeper after up potting them. Everybody seems to be happy and healthy now other than my one little Blue Dream. I'll make sure she get some extra care upfront LOL.

Heres how i found my mites......looking up through my girls like this. I noticed tiny specks on the leaves.......keep an eye out everyone as it's warms up outside!

Think that's it for now, make sure you all have an amazing day!

Ive never had any infestations so how do growers get them? Im in Wales,UK.Does it vary depending on location?

@800W-GROWER ......I'll second Vans remarks. I'm VERY careful in my space. I have to admit that I hadn't checked my plants that thoroughly that week, but it was "still cold", or so I thought. I've heard of people doing crazy things though like insisting on socks over your shoes or going in in bare feet etcetera. To help stop transfer what you don't know or can't control.
Different types of mites I would guess depending on location but I took the advice of many growers and varied my attack on them . Van suggested also spraying with a 9:1 (Iso:water) between soaps or sprays under high pressure. Also, not to name drop, but also with the help of @Peeece, he located a spot here in Ontario has sells a tri pack of 3 types of predator mites. Pricey at $195 CA, but worth every dime if they find a single egg. I think all together between the three different species, there are 500-1000 mites altogether.

Got my counter attack dialled in....ive seen no sign.

We were working outside on the outdoor veggie garden on Saturday. When we finished, Ms Stank said "I'm going to check the girls (plants) and then take a shower".

I yelled back...."You aren't checking the girls until you take a shower!!"

You have to literally change the way you approach things. Cleanliness is a must if you want to stay pest free. Now honestly....the amount of work to battle the mites isn't horrible in the big picture....but for me, every time I have to bend down and pick up a plant, its a big deal pain wise and the cumulative effect can have me couch bound for a day or two at a time. Not fun. So I go through those extreme means now because they are much easier than the constant bending over picking up, setting down, spraying, picking back up...going back up the stairs, bending back over and putting them back down.

Cleanliness and carefulness....yes....paramount.

And who's to argue it. You want results, demand results, but you've still got to start with the basics. Now, for the future (fingers crossed), I can battle the Borg with the best of yous guys!

On the weekend I was able to lay my hand on some CBD crew seeds. I had the misfortune of losing (not 100%, but she's looking thin in the skin, lol) one of my critical Mass seedlings. Her seed cap wouldn't shake so in my infinite wisdom and with my shaky ass hands I decided to try to help her out and ended up chopping off one of her cotyledon leaves before I got her cap to release. That being said, she's still vertical and still alive but I have taken the necessary precautions LOL.

My CBD crew seeds are CBD Critical Mass (very appealing), so I've dropped one in for a soak as a replacement. Might put her into my 2nd DWC bucket to give her a chance to catch up. If both survive......ill consider it a BONUS!

Fuck fellas you jinxed her lmao.......RIP little one.

......of chords nothing to do with me chopping her leaves off with my tweezers LMAO.

My poor little Critical mass seedling lost her battle this morning so she has been quickly replaced with a CBD crew genetics CBD x Critical Mass seed. She'd soaked and was already throwing a taproot in a shot glass.

This nice weather has me getting geared up to host a grow room build weekend! LOL! No but really what's your schedule like...

I can't do anything until my auto run is done... So you have a few weeks... I went in checked on the girls tonight and they are flowering... Tomorrow they will get their first Bloom feed. How are your girls doing? Did the CBD that you were a bit rough with come through your abuse or was she lost?

Hey Peeece, good to see you brother! Funny you mention the 2 CBDurban. Tomorrow is actually their scheduled chop day. They've suffered a bit due to heat and stress from spraying, but I started to flush them and my Blueberry last Wednesday. Really looking forward to try the Blueberry. I noticed on her tonight that she is throwing pistils again, a sure sign that shes overheated. My Durbans after they get a semi good trim, are both going right into capsules.

You should post your capsule recipe... I've been experimenting lately and haven't gotten into filling capsules yet nut that where I would like to be. I think I'm gonna order one of these next month a levo oil infusion machine... looks idiot proof... or maybe jelly head proof... lol! The website has a large basket you can order to help increase potency...

Im one lucky guy I suppose. And I dont take a shower before either! Ive even gone in the tent in my work clothes, too!! Actually,I do remember having an infestation ,but by flies. I was using B&Q soil and at the time was using regular seeds. The flies hatched from the soil and all disappeared through the vent in hours. I checked vigorously and found no damage to any plants. This was in 2006.

Luckily not flies interested in your girls then lol. More than anything, it just emphasizes cleanliness. I watch a guy on youtube who insists visitors wear socks over their shoes lol.

About 2 months ago, I can't remember how, but I was introduced to my new friend Jackalope. Jackalope is a very generous soul and has shared more seeds with me than ive even bought......yesterday was no exception....
I've got big plans for my space, including some breeding projects, the 1st of which I hope to be 9lb hammer x Charlottes web (although we hate to call it that due to unconfirmed genetics), we do however know that These seeds are a high CBD content strain. I also just came across some regular CBD seeds by CBD crew called Sweet and sour widow, so maybe a cross there too. Yesterdays package was no exception......youre a good man Jackalope. I'm putting a few in a teleporting machine for a friend tomorrow, seeing as we can't mention the mail. @Kingjoe83.......incoming brother. Also @Peeece, text me your address too please.......
Noticed this poor thing in veg today, toooo much LST in a short time I guess. She looks no worse for ware though....in fact she looks great.
Speaking of Veg, big difference in a few days. Here's the girls as of tonight.

I'm harvesting some plants tomorrow so it'll give me a bit of room in flower for a bit......Im sure I can fill it up while I wait for my ATF to finish hence gving me space for 6 more ATFs to join in flower. Nice long veg on these girls too.

That's all for tonight fam.....eyes are burning up.
Goodnight 420magazine.
