My Mystery Indica Reveg

I tried Tiresias spray but it only lasted 3 days so had some STS in the fridge and used that.

Keep em frosty ya'll

Did you make your own STS or was it the lazy man's way?

Tiresias, from Greek mythology:

In Greek mythology, Tiresias, was a blind prophet of Apollo in Thebes, famous for clairvoyance and for being transformed into a woman for seven years.

Cheers, old man! I'm just ruminating out loud here.

I'm thinking of changing my whole set up next time around and creating a hybrid hydro/DW system using a square config of 6 inch pvc pipe with 2 holes in each straight edge for small pots to sit in and the roots left to develop in the pipe away from the light and without the constraint of pot size. I'm also thinking of using only the 6 strongest clones and two from seed in the vacant spaces, but scrogging from a very early age. I prefer the sativa high and am actually thinking of autos for the two vacant spots as that won't interfere with the cycle of the monstercop clones.

I just had a mad 5 minutes and supercropped all the main buds; I'm just trying to stress her out. Below is another shitty pic, but you get the general idea from the canopy height and the bud looking at the camera.

It looks more like nutrient burn. You'll notice the tips are going brown, whereas in light burn the edges of the leaf will go brown and you'll see the veins in the leaf turning a different colour.

Yeah no burns on any side of the leafs I mean I have three plants all together the lights add up to 90 watts it pretty hard to get burns from the usually the tamp is in the 30s it's hard to keep it down

Have a look at this site to check for problems. Just remove the spaces.

Definitely a good move and best to lay off any nutrients for a week or two and then a very light feeding with a weak nutrient solution. Depending on the potting mix you are using, you should already have had sufficient nutrients for the first few weeks of growth at the very least. You should also try and maintain a soil ph of around 6.5.

Even though I can't see the trichomes clearly enough to tell what colour they are, it really looks as if I will have to chop within a week or so. One of the residents here has a fascination with microscopes and has a very good collection and it's possible he has something I can use, even if I have to chop a small piece off. However, I won't be able to tell him what I want it for.

I must admit that I am disappointed with result so far and wonder how much of that is due to the setbacks over the past few weeks (and my own inexperience and incompetence) and how much to the genetics. To find out, I will take what I've learnt from this grow (and it is lots) and give this one a second chance. I've also decided that I will go from seed as well and, based on what I've seen from Sneakygreen's grow so far, I'm going to order some white widow X big bud feminised seeds.

I'm going to reconfigure my system and use 6 inch PVC piping to hold the pots and use a much larger reservoir. I will go with four of the clones and monster crop those along with 4 of the WW X BB seeds.

Thanks Pine nut.

TBH, it would be an insult to call the buds on these nuggets. I chopped one little bud last night as a tester and have that hanging to dry. The pistils were all amber and once I trimmed most of the leaf there was very little left and what there is is very airy and fluffy. That being said, the smell coming from some of the other buds is increasing and becoming quite sweet. I really don't know what to do with this thing at the moment, but I'll probably just keep it going in the hope that it fattens up a bit, but I wouldn't want to nuy any of it as it stands. I understand that it is still only 35 days from flip, but the majority of the pistils have already turned amber!

I ordered some WW X BB seeds today and they should arrive early next week. I'll get them germinating as soon as they get here and pop them in with the clones when they sprout. I've decided I don't really want to waste much space on the clones so will only use the best two along with the 4 seeds. They arrive with a bonus autoflower so I'll add that to the mix as well.

As for the pringles carbon filter, it's working very well, but I wonder how it would hold up with some heavily pungent weed, but I have plans to scale it up for that eventuality.

Damn. I was thinking of using the 6 inch pipe I had lying around for my next grow, but the only 90 degree elbows I can find online are stupidly expensive. I'm thinking of just doing DWC instead with the containers I have on hand and buying two air pumps and airstones instead.

I know I've been a little negative lately, but wait, what's this?

I just smoked the airy fairy little bud I picked last and I know it was unflushed, uncured and still somewhat damp, but toke it I did in a wee bong. And I liked it! Sure, it tasted green, but was incredibly smooth with nary a hint of roughness and it seems to have lifted my mood considerably!

So, It's definitely not all gloom and doom in Greengo Starr's garden :)
