You will always be older than me, Methusulah!
So, I've had the fan off for a few hours and just made an inspection. Even though the outside air temp is not as cold as it has been and I have my no cost dehumidifier doing its thing, the leaves were "sweating" like crazy where they overlap and you'll understand that many of them will in a scrog, especially one as dense as mine. So, fan on turbo thrust for now to blow those fuckers dry. I've also opened up a top and bottom vent hole in the tent to allow air to be drawn in from below and warmer, moister air to be vented from above. I'll just have to make sure I close them up before I sleep to avoid light pollution from the holes whiles she sleeps. It is also worth mentioning that, even though I have removed over 3/4 litre of moisture from the air with my BS cheap arse dehumidifier in the last two days, my res required at least 1 litre to top it up. (haven't topped up for a few days
)
Fortunately, the arctic conditions have lifted so I will definitely have to get my arse into gear and put together the extraction fan tomorrow. I have a shit load of work to do as I am a freelancer, but priorities are priorities.
On a more positive note, more and more tops are starting to more closely resemble the last pic (not mine) that I posted, however I am still waiting on this awesome stretch I've been hearing so much about. There are loads of thick 'main' branches with very heavy and thick growth associated with them filling up squares in the screen, often with 3 or more thick branches in the same vicinity that cannot yet be moved into adjacent squares, but they really aren't stretching much at all. The only ones doing the stretching at the moment are still the tertiary and weaker branches with much greater distance between the nodes.
I tried to take some 'close ups' with my laptop to show the rapid onset of pistils, but it was like whistling in the wind. I really should borrow myself a decent camera as the buds develops as I would really love to document their growth for my own sake as well as to showcase here. Who really cares about shitty photos where you can't even see the pistils let alone the trichome development? We love eye candy!
Also, a cautionary tale, I have been somewhat careless when moving growing tips and accidentally removed at least two nodal growths in the process. I have since developed a way of tucking where the nodes are not subject to decapitation. However, in the big scheme of things, with the number of budding sites I have, two decapitated nodes are about as important as a minor water spill on the tent floor.
