That is what I did. I use to have two 5x10 tents two 5x5 and one 4x4. When I started to switch over I did one area at a time for two reasons. First was the budget. Two was to learn how to grow with them. It was a lot different. For starters the room temp needed to be around 78-85 degrees and that was from the plants leaf temp was way lower with led so you have to raise room temp lol that was the crazy part for me with always having to lower with hps. Then the plant growth was a little faster which I found out real quick you have to raise cal/mag about double over hps. Now the one thing I did not expect was in flower. All my plants started the final stretch a lot faster and finished faster which I believe is due to how fast they start flowers. On a average my plants finish a week early with led. Now from all my grows with using both the buds were about the same once you dial in the room but with led the terpenes and trichomes increased big time. I also ran some lab test on a few of my runs and found thc and cbd levels increased a good amount. A train wreck I have been growing since the 90's use to average 16% thc and .8% cbd. With the led runs it averages 21% thc and 1.3% cbd. Also the lemon smell increased big time. There are a lot of good reasons to switch just would help winning the lotto to afford. I just buy a few lights a year myself.
