Not sold on it yet? What's holding you back? I sub your thread and it's a great looking plant. I know you had a deficiency issue, but that's not on the SIP. And like you say you're getting stronger growth than you have previously which should translate into a pretty good harvest.It's my first and I'm not sold yet. It's a very different grow experience. Anyway, I put the soil in and so far I haven't even taken off her rain hat to look at it. She's growing stronger than any previous plants so far. I mean fat rigid branches and giant leaves! Put her to flower yesterday. Pouring ro water in the tube each day is all. I had some cal and mag issues that some epsom and a little cal/mag took care of right down the pipe. Come have a see.
There really is something to the extra air at the roots like you get in hydro and coco but in a much more flexible format with the SIP.
I've still yet to hear of anyone who regretted the decision to try a SIP. It's not for everyone to be sure, but even pro's have been impressed with the results they get.
