Funny I have done it to but not as much lately. My house was custom built by the builder and I know he was growing from the unusual cabinets, outlets, etc all over the house and the out buildings. I was still sitting on the fence until I found his secret flowering room.
Point is that I now post pics in the tub that he built with his wallpaper. I wonder if he is on this site posting under another name and going "hey, my old bathroom!". Talk about unlikely. Common tub and wallpaper.
On the other hand your FD number, that would be pretty specific. I think I would be doing some strategic photoshopping on that for sure.

Thanks Doc, I have also found a place in my new house where I think the previous owner was growing in too. I have an area that is completely hidden (that is a place where it should just have a sump pump) and has clean peat covering the whole area (about 60 feet x 45 feet) as well as being able to almost stand upright in and has outlets everywhere along with covering all the possible light sources and is about 65 degrees on the worst days, -20 was the worst so far). He could have supplied a small town if it was full. I had considered growing there myself but it's a little difficult to get to with my back injury.

I have a theory about this when it comes to cannabis use in our country. I think that the percentage of Americans that indulge is MUCH higher than suspected. You see, I have been a sort of spy throughout my life. I was a suit wearing long hair. This meant that I found myself the one invited out back after dinners as a beyond common occurrence. When you have hair like Willy, people assume. I have smoked with conservative mayors, famous singers, sports stars, ministers etc. Something about my nature always caused me to get the wink and the nudge and my work always put me in the right place. Just as many Republican as Democrats.
But, here is the catch, I would hear these same people make fun of pot smokers all the time! They were smokers themselves but they happily pushed the stereotype almost like it provided cover. This is why I think things are going to change much faster than people think because people will change their stripes fast if they don't see a risk.

Don't worry about going off topic here as far as I'm concerned. I have talked about all kinds of things other than pot. I agree with you about the laws changing quickly. When people are sick and don't know why, they have a tendency to tell their Paramedic everything. With the exception of famous people (only ever saw a couple of them), I too have had the majority of people ask if weed could have attributed to their illness/injury (which it can't of course other than making someone clumsy) and I always told them that. I NEVER smoked weed while I was working (but they did random drug tests yearly. I initially got away with it my first 3 years as we had a Chief that didn't care or think about it (never on the job, but on my off duty or not on call days - I was just a kid then and loved getting high vs now where I just want to get off the narcotics), but when he suddenly had to resign, we got a Chief that was big on testing. I got lucky in fact because he tested all of us full timers within about the first 10 days or so of him getting hired.
And your right, LOTS of patients including one of our "politicians" were stoners, but the politician always spoke out against "burn outs" at election time even before it was an issue (in the 80's), which I thought was protesting a little too much, but Paramedic/Patient privilege kept me from telling people even though he was an ass and kept getting re-elected. But I also think the prohibition will end sooner than most people think it will especially since now it's become such a hot button and a couple of states have already legalized it like alcohol already. BTW, I didn't mean "stoner"as a derogatory term, Just someone who spends most of their times high (which is fine with me as long as no one gets hurt)

I just wanted everyone to know that I didn't mean it as a derogatory term, Once my grow gets to the point I can smoke it, I too will be a stoner and damn proud of it as long as it helps my pain, which it already does when I can get my hands on some. I truly think of Marijuana as a safe medication for lots of problems and a safe recreational source.

I share your experience quite closely. No suit (IT doesn't have the strictest dress code other than for consultants and execs) but the long haired openly admitted pot smoker.
Back in the 80s when I was selling hash, my best customers were doctors, lawyers, accountants, and strippers, in that order. Ok admittedly the strippers rarely had to pay...
My favorite customers were two elderly ladies that bought a quarter a week and shared a gram a day. They were so adorable they rarely paid full price either.

Tomorrow I plan on trying my hand at cloning a good plant (feminised). Since PJ hasn't been around lately (and if anyone has heard from him recently, please let me know, I worry about friends and can't help it!), I need to ask you guys who have always directed me in the right direction on how to try cloning. I have read many threads that talk about it, but they seem to talk about doing something with the clones before you pot them, I know you have to soak the clone in water for an hour before you split the end a little and scrape the cambium layer but then it said to dip it in a cloning gel. Are they referring to this. here's a link I found:

That appears to be a cloning powder. I have used cloning powders, liquids and gels. I prefer liquids and gels, they coat the stem better.
If you want it, I can mail you this free sample I was given at a trade show a couple of months ago. I have not used this brand - yet.

If you want me to test it (I have another free sample) just tell me how you plan to clone, and I will test it out before mailing. Cloning normally takes a couple of weeks to show roots.
The simplest method when you don't have any additional supplies like a cloner bucket, cloning gel/powders, rock wool or root cubes right now is to just put the cutting in a glass of Ph'd water. Use a dark glass, some people even cover the top of it with something so the light doesn't penetrate the water.
Put it in a windowsill or somewhere that has light and just keep an eye on the water level until it roots.
This can take a little longer, but until you can afford quicker methods...it works. I've done it many many times.

I read enough to know you have to soak the clone in water for an hour before you split the end a little and scrape the cambium layer but then it said to dip it in a cloning gel, then I assume you put it in soil and wait. To be honest, that's all I know about cloning. I haven't learned much yet except to know it's quicker to get a harvest. Any info on it would be very helpful (Canna also gave me a way to do it) but I was hoping to try the gel since it seems faster. I'll send you a PM. (No offense Canna, I am just looking to try it with a gel since it seems faster, but now that I think about it, I may try both at the same time to see how each method works)
NO offense taken my friend. I love the cloning gel, I have a little packet of it here that I use when I clone in the rock wool and root plugs. I also have a powder, that's okay....but as was stated earlier the gel sticks and spreads better.

I plan on it! I'm loving growing for the relaxation also. I'm just amazed at how big these plants get so fast!!! And all is well as I hope they are with you!
