Are you going to use a chiller as well? With recirculation you may not need it if the water is moving around enough

I was thinking the same thing, i never used a chiller with ebb & flow or top feed recirc. A really big airstone churned the water pretty good.

I'm lucky I have a cold cement basement so my temps are perfect at 65 so far. I think I've seen it at 67 once so far

I don't think you'll need one either. Although I don't know your climate there but I'm going to guess it's near the same as here

I think the problem with warm water is it holds less oxygen than cold water. Keep it aerated and moving and you can deal with a little higher temp.

Yes I have to agree. I guess for me it's just preference
