My First Journal, Kanno 26: I Will Grow 6 Critical Plants From Royal Queen Seeds

I'm sorry, I forgot to put a picture in there.

The plants are looking happy and healthy, Kanno!

And, you're surrounded by folks who are determined to keep them that way!

Looking forward to your progress! :Rasta:

Hi fellow growers. Update: today started the second week in vegetables and the girls I watered after drying and look good I gave it today calmag plus to support the growth of PH 58, so hopefully they will benefit. I have a question when is the right time to start training? I think so at the fourth node, am I right? Thanks for the insight and for the advice;) PS: photos are before and after watering and then individual girls plus temperature and humidity;)

Those little girls have some big fan leaves on them! :Rasta:

I usually try to start training as the fifth node emerges (it gets chopped off), but its a matter of what you prefer and how high you can let them grow.

Looking good, Kanno!

I have a question when is the right time to start training? I think so at the fourth node, am I right?

Lot's of different ways to train. I like to do the "Quadlining" method. With that one, you wait until there are more than 4 nodes, then top just above the 4th node leaving a bit of a stump which helps prevent splitting later when the plant gets bigger.

Nodes one and two are removed, leaving nodes three and four. Each of those nodes will have two branches for a total of four branches. Tie them flattish to the four corners of the pot like an "X" and when they reach the edge of the pot let them grow upwards. When they then get to half the height of your flower max height, flip them into flower.

See the Quadlining link in my sig.

Hi @Kanno26, you got the girls looking good. Kanno Sensor. Lol. I want one of them. Ha.

My two cents today on your questions is that I cannot improve on what Azimuth and others already said here. Azi's quadlining, not exactly but in the same vein, is approximately how I got the Apple Blossom to look as she does. Topped above the fourth node like these guys are saying, pull your branches out as close to an X as you can, and fill it in. It's a lot easier than it looks sometimes. With these guys helping you out you'll do great. Love the fan leaves on them!!

Hi fellow growers, today the plants were dry so I gave them silicate and spice, otherwise they look good except for a few yellow spots on a few leaves and a few leaves are twisted but in my opinion it freaked out a little squeezed my temperature so I think it's. Today I let the light 100% so I hope it will benefit them. What do you think? Thanks for the opinions and advice;)

Hi @Kanno26! To respond to your query, imho, this is significantly too much light for the stage you're at. You're in early veg. 1088 ppfd is where you want to be in late flower. If it were me I would scale it back to around 600-800, depending on how hard you want to push them. The girls look pretty good man, you don't want to burn them up. That's my input.

Thanks to @Jon, something about that will pull it down to 75% of the performance. And how long do you think I should leave it, I only wanted to leave them in the vegetables for four weeks and make only four main branches.
