My First Journal, Kanno 26: I Will Grow 6 Critical Plants From Royal Queen Seeds

First time tried it on my photo NL's. Here, journal page 7 and page 5 are some photos about it. Well there wasn't nothing really to compare with. Also tried it 2nd time on some autoflower or then it was a NL clone. Can't remember.

Ikr giving shank to the first crop may sound a bit tough. Droughting and ice water/cubes are imho also good "stress tests".

I think also used nail once. Usually I've secured the stalk with cable ties before doing the cut and pushed something through so it wouldn’t heal. Like this

Literally anything should work. If the stalk is too hard and woody to get knife through that, I guess you could just screw it through a few screws. No pressure needed with screwdriver.

Edit: just realized I did the stem split on my huuge Purple punch that I had in DWC.
Here, journal page 22
Fortunately she went down only three days later so hard to tell if it had an effect.
Lol hella baked. :passitleft:

WHOA!!! I see, I think. It's basically all about pissing the plant off, however you do it, whether it's a cut, a piercing, or whatever. I suppose with the ultimate goal of pushing the pain as far as the plant can take to max the response from it, but not pushing so far you kill or damage it beyond repair. Yes?

Yes. Basicly same idea as scropping. You make the cut to the base of stem and plant goes into kind of "repair" or defence mode. In which case the plant metabolism should accelerate and plant should produce more thc.

This time I'd have two same strains just a bit different phenos, so could try to apply it properly in late flower before harvesting.
I dig about the droughting aswell, but stem splitting is more HC for my like. :cheesygrinsmiley:

How close to harvest do you drive that stake thru the heart of the plant base?

I was going to ask that too. And also, @Verbalist, on the plant with the ties at the top and bottom of the break in the stem, I get that. I'm wondering if the extent of that particular break is what you intended? Cuz damn does it look extreme. Or did you get a bit aggressive on that one? And is that an example of about the limit on the "push?" I can't imagine going further!

Thanks, sorry to pepper you with questions early on a Sunday. Lol. You'll be alright.

:thanks:

Inquiring minds want to know :hmmmm:

Tbh at no time had I actually planned it  Just knowing if some of them going for the chopperz over the next week I usually did it two to five days before. Not sure tho if any of them lasted five days stem splitted - most Ive likely been impatient af.

Lol had to think about that for a minute. But ye by then didn't have the bigger carpet knife at hand so I used a goood ol swiss pocketknife!
Lol by looking the lower cable tie on the pic I've a feeling the "push" got bit out of the hands. The lower tie has taken some hit as well. :cheesygrinsmiley:

It's bout to turn into moday in two mins, but good sunday!

Hi everyone, I will add that you have a nice Monday. Yesterday, the critical plants received only clean water with adjusted PH and today the 55th day of flowering. Today, during the inspection, all the trichomes were milky white and amber is starting to appear, I think by the end of the week they may be ready sooner. I decided to try to grow a stem on one of the girls, as @Verbalist advised me, and I chose this girl for this experiment. It will be the first of the right;)

And here I took a few individual photos thanks to everyone for stopping and for any tips, but I don't want to let the dog in there, it seems to me to be extreme that @Jon lol. I'm sorry I know it's not funny;).

Awesome @Kanno26! Tent looks amazing. So now you get to deal with an audience that you have groomed to have expectations, since you're doing so well. Lol. And as a member of said audience, I was wondering if it might be possible to get some trichome pictures for us? Also, what are you going to do exactly to that one plant, drive a nail into her? Not quite sure what you mean by "grow a stem on her."

Thanks @Jon, I'll definitely document everything I'll do with her;) And I plan to spread the stem in one and put a nail or a screw in there. He did something similar @BubbaKush909.

Cool! Thanks @Kanno26. I'm excited to see you do this. I personally have never had the balls. I admire your adventurous spirit.

Thanks @Jon hope that nothing goes wrong but they are so far away that it would not be up to it to be good or to do nothing, too:D.
It's probably too late to mess them up too much now. If you have amber you're close. Do you have an idea of how much amber you will let come in before you harvest?

I guess I wanted a maximum of 10%, and now I have about 5% but the truth is that now for the first time at this zsměřuji sometimes I just had to have milk and I reaped;)

LOL @Jon! Sometimes that translator is a trip!

Morning Kanno! They look so good! What's that yellow & black thing hanging above your plants in the tent? I'd love to see pics of your trichs as well if you can post any. You'll have so much great weed to smoke soon :yahoo:
