My First Journal, Kanno 26: I Will Grow 6 Critical Plants From Royal Queen Seeds

Hi again and one more update to my critical plants that have 38 days in bloom today. Today is the second day without watering and I think tomorrow will be time for another 15 liters of watering. Here are some photos and also some close-ups;).

So that's all, as soon as I reach the required humidity so I'll let you know. Thanks to everyone for the insight and for some tips;).
Wow, @Kanno26, the delivery system in your country works very well, that was fast!! And does that thing ever look sexy in your tent. I get mine today, can't wait!! I hope it does what you want it to. I'll be eagerly awaiting your report. Nice trichome production too, btw.....

Hi @Azimuth, thanks for the tip I will do as instructed by @Jon, I will put a cardboard in there and stick it with cardboard it will be sure;).

Otherwise to the dehumidifier, I managed to reduce the humidity to 54% in three hours, I collected about a liter of water, so far everything is going according to plan. ;)

Thanks @Jon, it's fast yesterday morning I ordered and this morning it arrived:D. So far, I'm happy and it looks pretty sexy there, I hope you'll be just as happy;).

Hi @Kanno26 - that's what I'm setting mine at as soon as it arrives. 40%. And then when the buds get big for the last three weeks I'm going to go down to 35%. Several folks, including @Rexer most recently, have indicated to me that getting the RH that low for the final fattening up period yields excellent results.
Not just because of the risk of mold, but as you lower your RH you force your plant to transpire more. As the plant stops growing vertically and focuses all the energy into buds - thats a good time to "play" with VPD.
You prob seen the chart/reference values before. But in case Kanno finds this useful :high-five:

Wondering did you Kanno ever set any kind of exhaust/filter system? Inside the closed tent that big girls will already raise the RH up to ~50% easy.

And Kanno-vegetables looking great! :yummy: Some amberish trics already visible on the sugar leaves. I'd say the veggies could be ripen in bout two to three weeks.
In a few weeks you will get to fill the mason jars with self grown herb. It feels super great for the first time!

Zajímalo by vás, kdy jste Kanno nastavili nějaký druh výfukového/filtračního systému? Uvnitř uzavřeného stanu už velké dívky snadno zvýší RH až o ~50 %.

A kanno-zelenina vypadá skvěle!

Hi @Verbalist, I hope you're doing better after reading in your diary? Thanks for stopping, I also think they have 2-3 weeks left, thanks for the table, just my translator won't translate it.

Awee thanks for the care :circle-of-love: Things slowly settling back and the current Gorilla glues looking promising, even tho theres many more weeks to go.

I wonder that if lowering your RH has a similar effect, yet gentler effect, as a droughting?

Hi friends, now it's been about 24 hours since my new dehumidifier was connected and during that time I got over 4 liters of water from my tent, which is great: D. Humidity during the night was a beautiful 53% and now it is 46% on the thermometer and on the dehumidifier 41% and even as a plus it raised my temperatures by some 3-4 degrees during the day and overnight. Thanks to everyone for stopping by. And how are you @Jon you got a new toy?

Hi Scott.
Not really. Lowering RH and/or increasing the temperature will raise the VPD which will force the plant to transpire more via leaves when opening and closing stomata. And thus that more Calcium is usually needed.

Droughting is a "stress test" for the roots. In that way you limit the water being available for the plant roots. This method being used mainly for at the end of the plant life cycle to produce more trichomes.

But for example combinating both of these; higher VPD will force the plant transpire more and if at the same time water being limited at the root zone, it will make the droughting effect to be seen faster…if you get me what I tryna say :D

Hi fellow growers, today we have 40 days of flowering my critical plants, yesterday the girls received 15 liters of watering and they look satisfied. Today I thought that I could check the trichomi and so far they are all clear but it's too soon, unfortunately I can't show you photos I only have a classic microscope but I think I have about 3 weeks left otherwise the dehumidifier works great on a hygrometer it shows me 45% and dehumidifying 41% which is great and I haven't run it at full and I can even set it by ten% so to 30%. It's good to have a reserve and I'm glad it works as it should. And here I took a few photos of my girls;). Thanks to everyone for the insight and for the advice.:D

Good lord, @Kanno26. There's no question now - you are definitely a pro grower mod plant, sent to do something, haven't figured it out yet. These look pretty damn sweet for an advanced grower. What's your real name? I ain't buying this Kanno stuff.

Lol. Just having fun with you Kanno. The bud shots are gorgeous and very exotic looking. Great trichome development, and goddamn your buds are huge, my friend. Excellent work.

Thank you very much @Jon, I am proud of them;) otherwise I am a slave to the water tank for dehumidification and unfortunately I have nowhere to put it I have electricity around the tent and I do not want to risk anything but in the morning when it lights up I pour about 2 liters of water and before the lights go out so also two liters, somehow it doesn't bother me because I still go to watch girls anyway lol:D. And at least in the morning and evening I will go there. I am glad that we have already solved the hose so that the light does not go into your tent;).

Gotta do what you gotta do. It fills up pretty quickly then, although that's not unmanageable. Amazing how much water they remove from the air, isn't it?
