Yeah I had to test my two cats around the plants to see if they could be trusted. Never trust a neko.

My only advice would be to top the plant a little higher....meaning not so close to the nodes/growth tips. The growth tips are so small and fragile that just rubbing them with the snips can damage them. I did this on my current plant. You can see where I rubbed the growth tip when I topped this girl. I only realized it a week or so later. Now I will make sure not to get so close to the new growth tips....there's really no reason to top it so close.
