got my light yesti the hood was nothing alike the previous one i had so i just hooked up the bat wing with the new globe had heat issues brought out the exhaust hooked to cool tube to blow air through her working a treat, buds are started to put some weight on, just gave a massive water and what im thinking will be the last dose of potash ( big dose that was too ) fingers crossed from here on out!

it doesnt say go vote for me bro it just says go vote,but I ll be honest I didn't know we werent allowed to write stuff like that,ive seen many others do it. I ll remove the post if its not allowed.

I just think it's a little like advertising putting the link to motm in a signature...if someone doesn't have a reason to do so...why do it? That's my two cents worth...BUT REALY, IT IS A FORM OF ADVERTISING....I want people to go to my Journals...:scratchinghead:

It was just my perspective...I am sure it wasn't your intention, but I think there should be a link to ALL the contests in the Header where when you open a page, there's the link...It's simple html...someone that has control of content should get it there...makes sense, right? I blew by them the first time and found them difficult to locate...:Namaste:

There's a fine line, I think the part about self-promoting was probably more to do with some behavior in the past, where people would much more brazenly say, "Vote for ME, in the MOTM contest!" and in many threads other than their own, etc. But, to encourage people to vote in your own thread without saying "vote for ME" doesn't seem so bad to me, personally.

I like referencing the 420 contests in my signature, but not specifically a particular one. The shortcut is nice I think, but sometimes it does cross over into self promotion a little when the portion of the signature regarding the contests is a link just for the one they are competing in, and in much bigger text than the other portions of the signature, or with big bold colors and arrows... But, you know what? Maybe the self-promotion can cost a person votes, too.

But, in your own journal, to say, "hey I'm in this thing, thanks for the votes so far..." that seems okay to me, as long as it's genuine and not overly pleading for more votes, ya know? Just my take!

this is spoken with sincerity, i was just having a little joke since i had read about not doing that. if i had of found it really bothering i would not have then voted for jon lol. sorry to spark this convo up jon was not my intention to make anyone feel bad or like something wrong had been done. pandora comes out of the bottle once she is out she dont go back in lol, so at least in a positive way it got out what people wanted to say but was a tad too awkward. cant we just vote for everyone? have 5 members of the month.. still a mean feat in my eyes.
