its custom but really simple. 45 gallon res with 1 350 gph pump with a splitter running to top feed lines along the top of the 10 buckets.theres spikes to direct the water down. Im not sure what the things are called you use for the drains but i ll take some pics tonight and upload them in the morning for you bro. its 1 inch flex line like for a sump pump going along the bottom of the buckest and then back into the bottom of the res which is in a different room I built in the flower room.it sits on the concrete floor and stays below 70 degrees that way.

dont worry about the bugs guys:) theres only a few because I let the soil dry out so much in between waterings so its under control just from that and the sulfur dust and dolomite lime will kill every last larvea without hurting any of the bennies because I flush it out after a half hour. they dont stand a chance:surf:

this journal moves so quickly. by the time im finished maintaining my own scrog this has gone 5 pages ahead! everything looking tip top sir. my outdoor has kicked into flower showing of pubes everywhere. has the hgk started to fill out yet? this is my first soil grow, i reallllllllly love soil.

hoping someone can answer this as i cant find anything atm. does the age of a plant have any bearing on the stretch? my girl is going into flower now and its been vegged for nearly 4months. last time i grew this strain i vegged for only 1 1/2 months and stretch was fkn stupid.. just not sure with training atm encase she does not stretch and i dont have nodes high enough above screen.. any help on this would be awesome.

on paper stretch is predetermined by genetics not how long you veg the plant but in my experience light intensity,room conditions and now lighting schedules play a big part in it too. If I remember right your girl is outside so I would say you will probably get lots of stretch.the first hgk I grew was outside and it stretched over 3 times its size. but suprisingly enough in my current grow the pk and the hgk are neck and neck right now and this pk is a pure indica.I ll be posting picks in a bit so you will see what I mean.If scrogging is your style of growing a good rule to follow is to train your girl to have many tops and keep them under the screen as long as you can until your satisfied with the size of the plant.I know that my girls need 90 tops to fill my screen so I just kept lst'ing until I had as many tops as I could and then started several rounds of topping to get the desired amout of tops.once you have that its just a matter of letting the shoots grow up through the screen a few inches and then train each shoot out to the next square and repeat this until your screen is between 70 and 80% full before flipping the lights and use the stretch to fill the rest of the squares.once you get a few grows with the same strain it gets easier to know when to flip. but if your scrogging outside...well if I was scrogging outside I would'nt add the screen until mid august,then you could set it at the right height so all the main branches are right at screen level. once the stretch is done I remove any branches that dont make it throught the screen because they will just clog up the screen and promote budrot because theres no air movement.dont be shy with this bro it will not affect your yield at all if anything it will give you a better yield because the plant will redirect all the energy it was using for those lower spindly branches up to the main branches.sorry for rambling I hope this helps bro:)

seems a little early but it looks like the stretch might be slowing down.this is a good thing the tallest shoots are maybe 18 inches from the lights.ive done some supercropping of the tallest shoots and this is keeping the canopy fairly even.the shoots are starting to thicken up and are getting alot stiffer.I can honestly say this is the first time that I have nothing to bitch about lol...everything seems to be perfect,no defficiencies and the ph is rising slowly like its suposed too I could'nt be happier with this grow:)
so far the canopy is pretty even

Just be careful here mate. Some of the minisplits with the multiroom function are a crock of shit. They all run on the same compressor outside so with some if you wanted to heat one room but cool the other they wont work or give priority to one head unit only. Just make sure you chaeck it out before you commit. In some circumstances it can be cheaper just to fit 2 or 3 smaller single head units.

thanks for the heads up bro.I cant see needing to heat one room and cool another though.and that unit is 42 000 btu so its definetly big enough lol...when the time comes to buy one I ll definetly be doing my homework:)
ps: what happens when I need to cool the rooms in the winter and the compressor is outside?
