My First Grow An A 4x4!

Hey everyone! Been a while since ive grown some weed and I just started a new grow in a 4x4 a few days ago. Figured I would do a journal so I can ask questions and get feedback. I am using a grow star 2000w LED full spectrum light. So far ive grown other plants and they seemed to love it and I think my weed seedlings are loving it too. I don't have everything I need right now but can get other stuff in the future. The soil I'm using is not the soil I want to use but I can't find the soil I want anywhere near me so this will have to do for now. It is burpee organic growing mix. So far is working okay nut I think I have slight nute burn on one of my seedlings. Will post pics for you to see. I started out 5 seeds. They are 18Xthunk from golden gate breeder. 3 are doing really well and are about 5 days old since they popped from the dirt. The other two or only 2 days old since they came up. Let me know what you think of my plants and setup. I will label my plants so you guys know which ones I'm talking about for the next set of pics. For now these are the most recent pics I have. Feel free to ask questions and give input. PS: can't figure out how to upload pictures:/ will download app maybe make it easier. Future update with pics soon!

Here are pictures I just took after I labeled my plants. 1 is first to pop through dirt and so forth up till 5 the last to pop through. 1,2, and 3, have been doing very well and are 5 days old while 4 and 5 are two days now. 4 if you can see has a light almost white color on the first leaves. It is very small and hard to see. I can see that they are coming in green below the white part which I assume is nute burn. I'm not sure though. I am using a soil that has 0.12-0.12-0.12 NPK in the soil already. Says it feeds up to 3 months. Like I said earlier it wasn't the soil I wanted but was the best available. Live in really small town and had to get something and it was organic. 5 popped up and didn't have its leaves yet. Looks like they are slowly coming in. So far so good. They were reg seeds so I'm hoping I get lucky and get mostly females or all. I'm gunna clone once I get a mom plant. Also there is a pic of all them together and a pic of my tent and light how its set up. I'm gunna try to get a carbon filter before it flowers amd will have some light hangers soon. For now the chain works. I prob will get a different fan aswell. I haven't been feeding them anything but Some great value bottled water. I looked it up and it said it has a ph of 6.5. Its also RO. Gunna get some ph up and down soon and some strips or a pen for testing. But for now the bottled water seems to be okay. Let me k ow what you guys think. If you have any ideas on how I could improve some things let me know. Its just the beginning so I dont have many questions. More updates to come as time progresses. Thanks everyone who subscribes or takes a look. Happy smoking!

I'm thinking those new seedlings need bottles over them. I believe, they are drying out due to not having a root system established. I think if you raise their humidity, they will recover. This is just an opinion from a new guy.

Intwresting. I have plenty of bottles. The humidity is at 54% right now. It has stayed like that the past 24 hours. Sometimes it goes up to 81%. Would misting them work as well. And do you mean just cop bottles in half keep lid on and set over top of the plants?

Yeah, just cut bottles and sit over the newest set of sprouts. I'm worried the leaves will still dry up unless you could mist them about every 1.5 hours.

Cool just did that for all of them. So the biggest ones look fine though right, and probably don't need the bottle over them?

Hard to tell in the blurple (color), but they look ok so far. If they start showing the same signs, I would bottle them too. I pulled mine early when I started, and had some problems, and ended going back under the "dome". I had one that didn't get to recover before I terminated the grow.

I think it may be a couple of days, but they won't show any more signs of going "white". Those leaves may not recover.

Bummer you had to terminate the grow:/ ive never grown from seed before always just clones. This beginning stage is completely new to me. Appreciate the input. Ill keep em all under the domes amd most them occasionally. Wait till i know they have a root system to take them off.

Termination is a fact of life here, and I'm very safety concerned.

I'm an auto only type guy. I don't mind photoperiod plants, but I just don't feel safe running a perpetual system, which autos solve that problem. I never have to change the light, so as long as I feel safe (and the temps are not melting), I can stagger harvests about 4-6 weeks apart depending on the strains. This is only hypothetical because this was my first grow attempt in 20 years.

Doing great so far...:thumb:

I feel you. I thought about auto flowers but I decided I'd rather have full control of the veg and flower stages. I cant wait till they are a bit bigger. I feel like they are so vulnerable right now and I dont want them to die. In sure they will all be fine but cant be too careful.

They are weeds and survive some terrible things we do to them. When you get a chance, look through my journal in my signature (if you can see it), and read about Ms. Big Seed. She had it tough, and I'm pretty sure it was my fault. She was an ugly little plant, but she made it to the end.

I agree put some humidity domes over those babies. That will help them out. Let's say for a week and then start to toughen them up after a week take the domes off
Awesome will do! Got them on all of them right now. Figure it can't hurt. I will mist them occasionally to to keep some water on the leaves. Let me know if that sounds like over kill with the domes. Don't really know much about seedlings. How long does it take till the roots really start to come in?

Word will do that

Misting them down won't hurt them. I still foiler spray mine everyday and mine are around week 5 right now. I am growing autoflowers too like bonsiaweed due to the fast turn around and smaller size
Word! Ill keep misting occasionally then. I can't wait till they are a few weeks old. I feel like I'm worrying too much lol. This is teaching my impatient ass patients lol.

No misting really required. You will see the bottles get moisture on the inside. Then you will be tempted to take them off. You can take them off for a few hours a day 1-4 but should put them back on. You will know when it's time to take them off.
