My 2nd 1st Attempt - Bubble Bucket Grow

Welp I ordered a new PH pen same model as before at least i'll have replacement parts. 2 weeks delivery times. 1 more week on my new led and free gooseneck mount! Here is the PH link in case any1 wants a well priced pen it lasted me 2 years and the only part needing replacement is the screw cap probe which I am to lazy to find and order, but its waterproof and under $40 when cross checked to ebay for purchase. Day total on bucket#1 bagseed 53, bloom time day 2. Bucket#2 bagseed day 53 veg, Bucket#3 LSD day 39 veg. So I have been checking the PH a lot less as I am using drops until my meter shows up in the mail like 2 weeks more! The good news is the PH in all buckets have stabilized to only move between 5.6-6.4. The only difference I can find is AN ancient earth has a purpose my water is stable without it my water is crazy to control with a starting PPM of 400-440. So I changed bucket#2 water tonight as it was showing signs of needing a little extra and since its only a day till water change I just did it a day earlier. I tried something new this time with the ancient earth mix. So I mixed 2 gallons of water with (in this order) 1ml of GH armorsi, 8ml GH calimagic, 12ml AN ancient earth, 12ml Botanicare aquashield, 2ml Plant Success orca, 14ml AN micro, 10ml AN grow, and 8ml AN bloom. This was of course mixed well with a diffusing stir stick between each addition on nutrients. I let it sit for an hour then checked it. Here's the thing normally my water PH is 7.8, but this time adding ancient earth in the beginning it seems it fixed the water or it made the PH perfect actually work. My PH with no adjustments from the tap is reading at PH 6.4 almost perfect. I added 1.5ml of GH down and that made it @PH5.8 (hard to tell with a drop kit). Well at least I know I wasn't wasting my time with ancient earth I used for 2 years and it works with bad water and synthetics. Bucket#2 is starting to get taller it may be the stretch from a weaker light but I like it! I need it to stretch its ready to bloom but needs a few more inches. Bucket#3 LSD its got roots!! So I didn't kill the bastard after all, and it appears the leave damage is stopping and new growth is clean and green. All buckets PH is good finally and stable!! PPM is high in all buckets #1 1300 bucket#2 1150 bucket#3 1000. This includes the 400-450 PPM the water starts at. 5 more days until my kessil h380 and gooseneck mount show up! Bucket#1 went through 3 gallons of water this week tomorrow is water change time as it must be ready after 6 days in. Bucket#3 will also get a water change tomorrow not sure at what strength but im thinking less than half strength still I can always add more 3 part during the week. I got root pics this time and yes they are brown, this is the instant affect of adding AN ancient earth to the water.

Well I missed the delivery of my light but I am going to pick it up tonight at the warehouse, PICS tonight of my new light Kessilh380. I think I am officially the first person to get 1 of these for use!
 
The story of the Nigerian Canadian check scam. So I drive across town thinking im getting a grow light. I wait at UPS for the driver to show and its an envelope with a check from a bank in California with a company letter head from Canada. Its $2500 check ya and then I get home and fedex has delivered a $2600 check from the same people different bank. SO being adventurous I take it to a check cashing place as I will never deposit this scam into my own bank account. Anyway about 5min after im in the store they come back pissed off with LOL you guessed more of these checks made out to other people in this city. Anyway still waiting on the light.
 
I've read up about that scam.. seems like they only targeted US and Canadian Law firms and used a fake check to acquire funds from these law firms.

Ya I noticed that they are kind of scared that someone will post an item they don't sell here and I'm guessing if my grow produces a good yield they will be mad if I post the results its kind of sad. I am considering moving to ----- as they are a little more open about what product you use. I also noticed if you use a sponsors grow light even if the plants are shit and they are dying these people have tons of followers on there grow journals. At first I couldn't figure out how some guy with a plant that's less than 1/3 the size and in terrible health has 50 people saying how great his grow is and then I compare it to mine with 2 people saying good job. I'm like HUH that dudes plants blow chunks and mine is huge what gives?? SPONSORS. LOL
 
I still can't figure out of this plant is a female! My Rastafarian friend from the virgin islands (british 1s) came over and left me a small dirt potted plant. Once again unknown plant unknown sex. I threw it straight into the bloom phase as I want to sex this plant before I bother spending my nutrient money on a dirt plant (UGH). I tried to get a close up of the big 1s tops to see if I any1 can identify sex at this point. 5days in bloom. PH on all hydro plants sitting @ 5.5-6.4 its hard to tell exactly with drops and no meter but its varying in the correct ranges. Bucket#1 still has about a half gallon of water left and I am going to let it run until tomorrow that should almost run it out to empty. Bucket#3 is getting a water change tomorrow as well. I'm guessing i'll water this dirt plant every 3-4 days. Day 55 and 41 I wont be tracking the dirt plants time as I have no idea how old it is. I will sex it then throw it back to veg and start day times on it when it goes into final bloom. PICs

Day 56 total 6 days bloom bucket#1. Day 56 bucket #2, Day 42 LSD bucket #3. I changed the water on bucket #1 tonight. I mixed up 2.5 gallons of water with (in this order) 8ml AN ancient earth, 2ml GH armorsi, 8ml GH calimagic, 30ml Botanicare aquashield, 3ml Plant Success orca, 18ml AN micro, 15ml AN grow, 20ml AN bloom. Stirred well of course. Once again PH is now close to perfect when mixed in this order. PH was 6.5 before correction. I ended up with PH 5.5 in bucket #1 as it usually rises a bit when after the water sits with the roots in it. I decided to let bucket #3 ride the nutrient mix a few days more as the leaves are finally getting shiny and lettuce like again that's telling me this LSD is getting healthy again. I did add 2ml of GH rapidstart to bucket#3 as the roots are not branching out like the other plants that got GH rapidstart b4. Anyway iphone is on recharge I'll post pics in a few minutes. I am hoping my blooming plant is female. Anyone else have a guess let me know please. maybe by sunday when I am at 9 days bloom it will show sex??
 
So I thought I corrected all problems and only old leaves were dying on bucket #2. Anyone know what these brown rusty leaves and tips are brown on other leaves and on the ridges of the leaves.

Can you even distinguish a female calyx in any of those pictures, let alone a pistil? i think not.

The two pictures shown of the branches are not angled at the right places. nor are any bud sites developing at the end of branches.

5 days (only 4 on the day of the update) of 12/12 is too early to see sex on many strains, unless its a fully matured plant that has already shown signs of sex before going into 12/12. And if not, very few strains show sex immediately. usually 7-12 days is average.
 
Thanks man I will do that lights are off already but I'll try to do it from all angles. Should I pick 1 main top and picture it from all sides and underneath?
 
Ok Greenthumb J I got a few pics of the bloom plant but I doubt the resolution will cut it for you. Got a question on bucket #2 pics are the brown ridges burns from wind from my fan or some nut problem?

The brown edges and burnt tips are from over fertilization.

Cut back on the amount of nutes you are putting into your water.

Give the plant a flush with PH balanced water for about 3-4 days then add your nutrients back in at 3/4 strength.

Make sure you flush the growing media too. Even if its the clay hydroton pebbles, the salts in the nutrients can still build up.

As for your pictures, you're right, the resolution is still very hard to make out the sex of your plant. I find that if the plant hasn't shown sex after about 40-55 days from seed, its 90% going to be male, as female preflowers often tend to show up before you put the plant into flower.

I am seeing the same thing with my BC Sweet Tooth. Been almost 2 full months from seed and i haven't seen a single sign of gender, except for a couple small bumps that could easily be mistaken for a stamen or a calyx.

I am clearing out my LED tent (cause some plants are sharing the space) and moving every plant into my new Veg tent. Then i will put the Sweet Tooth into flower to determine if its in fact a male like i think it is.
 
Looks like I got pre-flower signs at 57 days on both plants 1 in bloom 1 still in veg. worm sign (dune reference sorry)
