Munki's Ebb n Flow 3 x 3 SCROG 400W HPS Grow

I'm sure the powers that be will let this one slide on the one plant rule in the plant of the month contest. Your is just to good not to. Great, unbelievable job.

I don't know if I can beat DirtFarmer's entry. That is why I thought there sould be a separate indoor and outdoor plants of the month.

I have to agree concerning a diference vote for soil/hydro inside/outside. I am a hydro user, but I may try my hands at soil to see if the buds taste differently.

wow just amazing dude.....how many ounces do you think you'll get off that monster??
BTW I just voted for you and just put you in the lead with 6 LOL good job man

Hopin for over 1 ounce per square foot. I think I got a little over 5 sq. ft. so 5 to 6 ounces is the estimate. That coming from a newbie though.

You got my vote for POM... Standing and Clapping! :adore:

Thanks for the vote OBX. I think I deserve Indoor Plant of the Month but it is like comparing apples and oranges when looking at the outdoor grows. A 10 foot by 12 plant is simply the wrong way to go in an indoor grow due to the inverse square law for light not to mention just housing such a beast. But for an outdoor grow, they are impressive so I would like to see Irish and dirtfarmer get their props.

Rob would snuff out my bowl if I ask him yet again to start another contest ;)

We do need a split between indoor and outdoor in my mind as well; but the boss has put the kabosh on any new contests until we get more mod help ;)

yeah i think its def 2 different things to compare... still, munk, you got my vote easy tho butch's plant was Shibby heh

thanks for the understanding soniq

Yeah, I suppose they only get to shine a couple of times a year at the most, so I definitely understand that thought.

Thanks Odorous. Butcher is passionate about what he does.

Hey brother grower ....13 was always my lucky number ....your entry for plant of month got my vote :yummy:

Appreciate the vote Tunes.

OK, we are at flowering day 58. On RO water only and added 2 gallons today. It is flushing out something as the water is tinted and read a TDS level at ten times the RO TDS base level (10 - 100 PPM). I'm not adjusting pH so it is at 7.4 after the water addback.

The resin is cloudy with maybe 5 % amber on the left and maybe 50 % clear on the right plant. From this, I will delay harvest 1 week. They are swelling still.

those look great as usual. good call on the waiting another week, you don't want to get impatient and not get full potency.

i hear all the old timers say flower until you thinks its done, and then go another week. lol.

btw, i decided to go scrog earlier today too. lol, went to homedepot and built me a 34"x44" screen. how big is yours again exactly? 36"x36"? earlier you said you had about 5' of grow space, did you mean how much of the screen you filler? because you obvously have 9 square feet of screen if its 3x3, not 5.

That is the exact phrase that rang in my head. I had some concern about the thrips but I think I'll be OK.

WOW! Scrogalicious:yummy:

Oh I very much agree!

the screen would be 3 foot square at where the poles go down to the ground. If you can see where the T joints are, I had to extend it a bit to allow the use of only T joints. I couldn't find a 3 way joiner where each hole was 90 degrees to the other two holes ( a corner joint ). So, the screen is more like 3 1/2 x 3 feet = 10 1/2 square feet.

Improvements would include larger holes in the screen and the screen assembly should be attached somehow to plant's base for better security.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i just remembered why i voted that plant, plant of the month...........

yeah good idea to postpone harvest... i think its the #1 mistake by first time growers to harvest early, way to break the mold

Mold! What mold?!? Heh, kidding, but only a little. That sir, is definitely a four letter word amongst us growers. Fungus, mold, and mildew ... oh my!
