Good afternoon Peyton and Mr Skunny:).....doing good this morning.....had a washer emergency....hose was leaking so had to pull everything out to fix it:)......busy morning:).......
Reg....i have never had whale......but love me some quail.....havent had any in years but a couple 2 or 3 of them and your set;)

Hope your day gets better. Household emergencies really stink when you want to hang out and chill in the grow room lol.

Talk about a washer interrupting grow time.... the line to mine froze and burst today... SUBZERO temps here.... there's a coating of ICE on my laundry room floor! (I should say "My wife's laundry room floor" lol) But I'm still on the hook to fix the water line. The one room in my house that was added on decades before I bought the place... no insulation between the laundry room addition and the house.... froze up inside the wall. Sometimes I just have to laugh at the stuff that happens to me. :)

Hey there Jinn....well ended up having to pull the dryer out again as i didnt check the exhaust line and ended up being partially clogged but now all good:)....i hope all is well with you:)

So the lesson is that my r/o water comes out at a perfect 5.8 and around 57 degrees faranheit........i used to add my fox farms regimine and then PH to 5.8.......now normally the PH drops to the 4s over night but i noticed a trend of fill up days since it has been cold.........when i PH at temps other than normal res temps which average 73 degrees the PH rises as the temps rise to normal temps.......from 5.8 to about 6.2......still within range but i like mine at a solid 5.8 or 5.9........so i dont know if it is just with fox farms nutes or all but i just figured this out:)lol.......might be common knowledge but it is the lesson i learned:)lol..........Mr Skunny....i know you are :drool:over that lesson:rofl:

I've got a theory, does your ph meter have a temperature compensation circuit? If not then the cold water will have a totally different ph to room temp. You shouldn't be putting cold water in your res either, it'll shock your roots. Get yourself some jerry cans & do your RO a day early & let it warm up :)

I hope the snow doesn't stop you getting home BG, it's bad round Manch

I dont put that cold water in my individual resevoirs silly:)lol......only in my main resevoirs....one flower 10 gallon and one veg 7 gallon:)......i always fill from the main resevoirs after i ph them:)

Here is a pic of my meter.....if anyone has any suggestions or knows something about temperature calibration on this unit please advise.....if not it is not a biggy as i am aware of it and pay attention:).....

Ok and now for my Blue Dream.....she is starting to show signs of a deficiency.....it is only affecting a couple of fan leaves now.......looking at my chart i am thinking a nitrogen defic?.......the color is actually close to yellow.....the pink doesnt show the actual color well so if you need me to take another with lights off let me know:)

As you can see it is only affecting one side of the leaf or half:)lol.......any input would be greatly appreciated:)

I had the half yellow leaf syndrome on one of my last round of girls when she was in flower. I find it hard to believe you have a nitrogen deficiency as grow nutes are usually loaded with it. If it's just one leaf, I'd ignore it for now :)
