:) I'm visualizing my first try will likely be a messy affair and may not even reach the same concentration as the original bud/trim material but I'll take that as a first step towards getting it right!! Concentrate would really be my holy grail of medicinal security - to always have a robust supply of concentrate on hand that can go wherever I need/want to. I'm not religious but the thought of this IMO is like praise the lord worthy! ...and please pass the corn bread :) OMG Buckshot's concentrate just makes me feel like a kid in a candy store :) Cheers GD and thanks jinn and Cronich also for your thoughts. just be careful with bho its dangerous if there isn't a stiff natural breeze
there are other ways to extract that are safer if its an option for you

I have to agree, I've never extracted but I've seen videos of explosions. My advice is to watch tutorial videos & you MUST do it outside. If you haven't got anything to vacuum purge your product, do not even start. :)

Garden is looking POSH GD. I like the different size/stages of plants. The mature ones are starting to put some bud on nicely! :) Jack Herrer is a bushy lady - I like that growth. Hope Pineapple swings around and gets going. Great pictures of what you are doing and techniques and equip. you're deploying. Thanks GD. Hope you have a choice day buddy!

Thanks for the wisdom guys. I was Definitely! going to research and get guidance here before even thinking about singing about trying a first attempt. I may go the dry ice method first just to see if that is sufficient for my needs. I prefer smoking buds but want to maintain a fresh stash of kif and/or concentrate for when I have to be away.

I have a small professional stilling device. Would this be applicable and useable for making concentrate and/or to recapture and reuse the solvent(s)? Thanks again guys - and thanks GD for letting me post on your page!

I forgot to mention that while i was taking pics of my CJH in flower i noticed some minor nute burn on somme of the tips......there are two reasons i think this is happening......first the last time i foliar fed....about 5 days ago......i went a little overboard so there was big drops on the ends of the leaves and i only have right at 12 inches of clearance from the tops to the light.....second factor is she drinks 1 1/2 gallons through the night leaving about a 1/2 gallon in the 2 gallon res......i believe the high concentration of the nutes left over in the 1/2 gallon might be to strong........remedy......easy on the foliar spray:)......second....the main 10 gallon res was down to about 5 gallons and ppm was 1600.......i filled with just r/o and now the ppm is 1170.......i emptied the 2 gallon res and refilled with the lower ppm......will see if the leaves get any worse over the next day or two, but i will also make sure the res is topped completely before lights out as opposed to just filling in the mornings:).......

colorful, I'd start off with ice extraction and see how you get on, it's easy & safe to do & the resulting product is top draw :)

I know Jinn....she has been drinking that much since the start of stretch.....and then to top it off....just thought about it......her roots fill most of the resevoir so the nutes are that much more concentrated in there until refilled:).....yep she is one thirst girl......only thing i can figure is this XTE is giving her much more light than previous grows with the Mars ll which is making her so thirsty....temps are about the same as always.....or she just requires more than the others:)lol.....

Awesome update GD! That liberty haze has my eye. Unfortunately for Mr Newton, he'll have to go through the green and blue juggernaut that is my Seattle Seahawks to win a championship. Maybe next year lol.

That cloner worked then? Did you get 100% success? It looks allot better than mine. PC should be fine. It takes a while for the roots to settle in and get happy in the organic soil. It's taken add long as 3 weeks for me to see new growth when going from DWC to OLS.

I spoke to early, if Detroit wins they'll be going to Seattle. You still have hope lol.
