Processing and Curing marijuana correctly is just as important to the final product as growing it correctly.

I've found Kyle Kushman's method to be the easiest for me to understand and get close to reproducing. I'm not trying to be controversial, but this is a known industry fact that most people entirely overlook.

He used to have a lot more detail in the article but it looks like it's been generalized. Wonder why?

What I've found works best is drying slow over 7-10 days in the dark. Temp 68-70 degrees. RH 50-60.

It can be a pain to get these parameters right but it's so worth it.

Filled the flower room resevoir late last night......mixed with week 7 on Fox Farms hydro schedule.....i have to call them because i have yet to achieve the ppm range they say it will be in....with just thier additives....the cal/mag brings it up to the correct range.....maybe because i use r/o water....maybe its calibrated with tap water:).......well i will let yall know when i get around to getting answer:)..........ok......so i emptied CJHs res and filled her with the new nutes this morning.........now after that i had to clean and refilll the veg res which is 7 gallons....flower is 10 gallons......well its still filling...r/o is so slow:)......but i will use week 3 on the hydro schedule.......and i have already fed the auto short ryders in flower with some organic nutes and organic cal/mag, and hydro silica.....i used the hydro silica last feeding with them and they seem fine.....but i do feed nutes and then just cal/mag and water the next two waterings so maybe that helps flush any salt build up from it which cant be much as very little is needed:).....ok.....that should be all of my Weedsday update:)

Well...........attempted the oil today and you want to talk about an epic fail.....i am blistered right now.....arrrrrggghhhh....i think there is a problem with the nuwave.....as temp was very unstable.....one side of the measuring cup would be 120 the other 190.....only boiled off the milky part of it in spurts....then temps went up crazy almost 300....nuwave was set on 240......splatter and sticky oil all over the damn kitchen....was only able to get a couple rice grain size sucked up in the syringe and i dont even know if its any good or just trash it....glad i only did 1 ounce instead of both.....what a fiasco:(....oh well for now he is enjoying the cookies....i will make more with what i have left as i know better what i am doing there....cant afford to wasted anymore:)......i will try it again with a plate warmer maybe next time, but it will be a while as i am pretty torqued right now that i screwed it up and dude with cancer is the one who goes without.....sorry about the mini rant:)....just wanted yall to know it had the time finally:)

Im sorry you didn't meet with success mate, but as long as you learned something in the process your time wasn't wasted.
And from what we know about his tolerance and the strength of the cookies, I think he'll be taken care of for a little while. So don't be too hard on yourself brother.

That really Sucks!

I'm confused though. l just use the copper coated pan that comes with the nuwave to burn off the Everclear. I've never ever ever seen anything left that could splatter and burn you. What's left ina thick gooey substance that you can't even get out of the pan. I typical put my coconut oil right into the pan and mix it with the oil at 100 degrees. Never hot enough to blister or burn.

Don't give up. For cancer patients the oil is there only hope once traditional medicine techniques are exhausted.

Check your nuwave by using the pan that came with it and an inch of water. If it's reading true that way, I have to assume it was something in your technique.

I'm will do a how to on this but it will be a while. I'm writing another how to right now that I'm concentrating on.

The oil will be my next one.

I am good bro....just had to step away for a minute.....i just wanted him to have options, but i will say that a half a cookie is keeping his mood up and pain not so bad so that is cool....at least there is some relief:)

Hey Doc i used a stainless steel pot that i bought special.....didnt know i could use the pan that came with it, but i followed the link on cajuncelts journal.......step by step.....i boiled water with the pot to make sure it would work, but once i put the metal measuring cup with the rest of the everclear and oil......thats when things went sour.....i will try boiling the water with the copper pan tomorrow and let you know what i find......:)

Hey GD,

I took one look at those instructions and immediately thought, "I hope to one day be able to do that". Then I thought, "that looks dangerous". I'm sure the quality of that oil is the best. But that method should only be attempted by someone who really knows what they're doing.

I'm sorry buddy. I'll put together a how to that's a lot safer. But remember, this stuff is always very dangerous. Look at your burns and remember that. I do lol.

Glad your ok buddy.

I am sorry.....when i said i am blistered...i meant pissed off..:).....i got some of the splatter on myself, but nothing to hurt myself....just my pride.....:)lol

Actually i was having really DIRTY dreamz......yeah man.....so i am in this house that i dont know.......i start investigating the different rooms and i get to this room in the back.....when i opened the door to my amazement it was filled with several sexy beautiful women......they looked way to constricted in thier current apparel so i figured i would help out:)lol......so i went in and one by one i stripped them of thier outer shelll.......and then i transplanted them to bigger pots....dude it was DIRTY as hell.....had to vacuum before i woke up:)lol
