Not having had a fairing, I don't know the difference....I used to ride sometimes with my aunt and uncle and their Gold Wing group....they all thought I was nuts, they just shook their heads.....one time on a Cali 8 lane one way freeway they call the Grapevine, the wind took me from lane one all the way to lane 8 sideways......holy cow, dodged a bullet right there.....I'm telling you those folks stepped in and formed a tight line of bikes right behind me across the whole freeway.....they always had my back that's for sure.....the scariest looking feckers were all just big teddy bears....I loved it. Even the Hell's Angels were good to me, never any fear on my end...

My dad rode with the Mongol's as a young Marine......mom said they would go to the rallies and at first she was scared shitless, but as butch and hardcore as the Ol Ladies looked she said they were some of the nicest and caring women you could of met:)lol......Dad must of looked funny at about a 130lbs soak and wet riding amongst all these Big Bad Ass Bikers:)lol.....which if you have rode with the Hell's Angel's then you know the two clubs dont get along very well:)lol......seeing the Hell's Angel's on the freeways as a kid and hearing thier Harley's idiling and sounding like they were going to cut off and just before they did.....they rumble back to life......that whole scene for me was what made me fall in love with Harley's:).......memories:).....wow:)

Geez, Green, if we could burn one together I bet we could have each other howling with our biker stories...oh lordy.....I got all hot and bothered this morning finding out it was 70 and you and LB were going to take a spin.....I wanted to go so bad.....so I just tripped down memory lane and relived Easy Rider...ahahahha

Hey Dirty, do you ever use your kill switch to make big bangs? I used to have a Honda VTR1000 Firestorm it was a 1000cc V twin that was all raced up & had noisy carbon cans(exhausts). Hitting the kill switch on that was like letting a shotgun off :) Superb for scaring little old ladies with :laugh:

that's funny Skunny....I used to ride in subdivisions put the bike in neutral, goose the throttle, and set off car alarm systems on those parked in the street :rofl::rofl:

what's it do .....back fire?......my sporster 1200 i had i put some drag pipes on it.......high dollar hyper charger.....that fooker would set car alarms off in the parking lot across a major highway:rofl:lol....it was stupid loud......every once in a while when i would really get on her she would shoot a short flame out the exhaust:)......i burned a many a pair of pants on those damn pipes:)lol.....my bike now has loud pipes but nothing like the sportster:).....that was more for showing off when i was younger i think......:)lol.....it didnt take long to figure out it was more fun to ride for myself:)lol........so you dont pull the clutch.....just hit the kill switch......and fireworks?:)...hmmm.....i will have to try that:)

haah....i was just posting about this:)lol.....a buddy i ride with has a 93 Electra Glide Police Edition.....has the siren ........people will get stupid so he will just chirp it a couple of times:):rofl:lol.....it is funny watching people try to figure out where the hell the po po are:)lol

:rofl::rofl: Oh God, Green, have been thinking all day about the funny shit I used to do on my bike.....and my exhaust pipes were NOT standard either. Bought the damn thing, picked out the new pipes, and came back for it 4 days later after they were installed.....I put a really cool skull with ruby red eyes on my fuel tank gas, not cover but small thing a ma bob......can't remember what you call it but it was small and so cool.....I used to wipe down the bike after each use, you could eat off any part of that thing.....

You have Unity and I had "Dave." I used to say, 'what's not to like when I have a huge vibrator in between my legs that takes me anywhere I want to go and never gives me shit" SWEET :rofl::rofl::rofl:

My Firestorm used to set off car alarms too, I should have named it thunderstorm :) Yea Dirty, as you're cruising down the road hit the kill switch, leave it off for 2 or 3 seconds & then flick it back on & BANG!! A shit load of un-burnt fuel ignites & gives you the granddaddy of all backfires :laugh: Don't do it when you're gunning it though, you'll probably shred your crank :)

Did you whisper Dave when you turned his pet cock:rofl::rofl:.........funny story with my sportster......i had a few kawasaki's before i got my first Harley which of course was a 99 Sportster 1200......was a proud daddy for sure.....had her about a week......pulled up to a stop light next to this dude on a older fat boy.....loud just idiling......i pull up next to him and stop....look over and nod my head and was like....what's up?:)......he just stared at me for a second and asked me......in a smart ass tone.....Why is that thing so quiet?.......i just looked at him.....like.....wtf.....shit......no lie....i turned around and went home....just a couple of minutes away.....got online and looked for the loudes pipes in the description.......and they were ordered within 30 minutes of him asking me.....Why is that thing so quiet.......i installed them and every time i went out which was all the time i looked for that dam dude, but never did see him again:)lol......the power of persuation:rofl:lol

Was yours fuel injected?..... i am not real savvy when it comes to actual engine work......i have done most of the work on my bikes except the actual internals:).......i can picture it on a carburated one, but am not sure the same effect on a fuel injected:).....so what is it:).....cause i definately want to try....fook with the neighbors:rofl::rofl:lol

makes sense to me:).....does it take the sticky off your fingers pretty easy as well?.......i have thought about making my own sticky removal with some crushed rock salt, lemon juice, and olive oil........when i was still a clock puncher i was out in the elements everyday and suffered with my hands drying up and cracking/bleeding badly.......tried many different things but nothing helped......i even used to take medicated lotion and gloves overnight to help.....not so much......we were at he mall one day and went into some bath works place and asked for help with it.....this lady takes us over to this bottle of very oily salty and perfumed scrub.....my initial reaction was there is noo way that salt is going to help.....just burn........well i tried it and that stuff worked miracles.......and lasted forever too.....and there was the problemm.....wehn that bottle finally emptied....maybe a year......they no longer made it.....wasnt popular enough....have never found anything to matcch it yet....of course i dont have them problems anymore eiher:)lol....but some day i will try making my own hand scrub/stticky bye bye:)

Yep it was, All you're doing is filling your chambers with laods of fuel, carbs will do the same thing :) I've sent you a vid
