I've actually drank in the jockey and picked up while I was there . It's about mile and half away from where I was born . Life is really like that on them estates . It's all about the party . I even sound like frank and few of my mates look like him . All the filming used to be done on the estate and no studio's was used . Until the little feckers on the estate told the film crew they needed to pay protection money . The film crew didn't and there vans got turned over and all the stuff kept getting robbed every week
then they moved to a studio . I only ever watched the first 3 seasons after that it got a bit shit . That part of manchester isn't even that bad compared to others especially where I grew up you learnt to fight before you could walk

lolI can understand how you wouldn't get the Office, I'd never heard of Ricky Gervais when that came out & it wasn't on one of the big TV channels. I watched quite a few episodes & thought it was a documentary on office life
