Hello everyone....been a super busy day and just got here....i will reply to everyone in a little but first.....when i just came into the room a bit ago to check the girls today......my pineapple chunk that just started showing pistils today is showiwng a defiecieny and i dont know what it is.......i just fed aboout 4 days ago at full strength organics........the time before when i watered i waterde wiwth jamaican bat gauano and forgot the cal mag.......she showed a little sign so when she got fed the other day it included 10ml cal/mag to 1 gallon of nutes....i seen the deficiency a couple of days ago....started towards the botton and was not very pronounced......overnight she got quite a bit more fans showing.....i took several pics in different light....it is easy for me to see wiwth the led on but not so much without....and of course the pics are kind of hard to see a few.......help please:)

Because R/O water despite being stripped of most of its minerals and contaiminants, it still has small amounts of metals/salts/etc... that allow CS to attach and bind to, thus lowering the amount of CS that is available to the plant.

You shouldn't be showing any actual deficiencies this early, especially if you've just fed recently. Do you think it could be ph?

before we shotgun blast problem solve gents, lets get the run down from dirty first.

Type of nutrients used, strength, water type, ph, additives, etc...
have you noticed any pests, smells, or anything out of the ordinary?

Once we get that info, making informed suggestions becomes much easier ^.^

Ok....sorry it took so long to come back.....i stopped and checked the PH.....7.0 top to bottom and all the way around.......got the big magnifying glass out and looked over her real good and under the fan leaves.....no sign of any pests.........the Bat guano is high in phosphorous plus the nutes are on the flower regimine.....if anything maybe an over abundance of phosphorous?........um.....oh....i use an organic line of nutes......i cant put them on here as they were sponsors but there was some controversy so i best not publish them:)lol....i will pm you Jinn........but they were fed at full strength plus cal/mag

I would recommend a flush and feed at half strength without adding new amendments until the plant asks for them.

I find it interesting, phosphorus cuts out at 7.0?

From my experience, 7.0 is too high for hydro, I keep at 5.5 - 6.5

Dude....i jsut PMd you back asking about the flush:)lol.....so feed half strength with grow, micro, and bloom only?.......and what do you think about Roberts chart?........

And Robert...that is interesting......as as she has started flowering...pistils popping this has started......dont they require extra phosphorous durning this period?......

But here is mmy problem wiwth that Robert.....my soil is organic as well as the nutes......whether the ph is 4.0 or 11 the next day it is back to 7.0.......i would have to adjust the soils ph everyday to get in under:)lol.....so i am perplexed, but i like Jinn's advice and i agree a good flush back to ground zero wiwth a little go go juice to boot:)lol

I'd like to try coco mats one day I think theyd be a really fun project.
If I were to do soil again, it would definitely be high brix living soil for sure.

Funny enough, the only true hydroponic set up that I'm going to run, wont be for cannabis.
I'll be making my own self contained unit that has a P300 LED in the center of a rotating wheel that houses all the herbs and medicinals in netpots. as the wheel rotates each basket is watered by a constant waterfall.(for oxygenation)

That sounds cool as hell Jinn:).....i have 2 12inch automatic turntables that i had a 7 gallon airpot on each one.....i dont remember which plants though......the buds came out very even and similar looking....i do remember that....but it was a little to fast....i needed it to be half the speed it was and a dimmmer wouldnt work.....it just cut off without the proper voltage:)......plus it was hard as hell not to get them wet :)lol

I'll have to sketch something up and mail it to you, you guys might like it for cannabis too, I just will be using it for other herbs and such.
