It does but you need to do it on a low setting, 3-400w & do it in 30 second bursts. It doesn't smoke as nice as oven dried. You can use the bun warmer on your George Foreman grill too

I cut two nugs for speed drying, and regretted it immediately. The taste isn't as bad as people make it out to be but the grass smell kills me, I can't do it.
I had flushed for 10 days, put the buds in the a cardboard box for a day with my exhaust pushing warm air over them, then finished with them in the oven at low heat for 2 hours. (thus the reason the smoke wasn't too harsh) But doing it in the microwave is going to give you really harsh smoke, and bad taste. nearly ALL of the chlorophyll is released when thrown in the microwave.

Actually i beg to differ with the microwave.....that is the only way i have done it so my experience with taste of others is none,but what i do is take some wax paper......fold in half....place bud inbetween so it is covered......i microwave in 5 second increments and flip the bud each time......after aobut 30 seconds worth the bud is dried and ready to smoke......i have had some that was harsh but organic ones never were harsh and some hydro........dont get me wrong....some were harsh.......but foor me it is not about the taste or harshness but more on the potency of it as if it is good then then when it is dried and cured proper i know it will be the shiznitlol.........dammit Skunny and Doc

I've dried mine every way possible, and steam drying is quickest for me. Taste depends on stain. My PC tastes like crap no matter how you dry it, but the HGK comes out really good in microwave. I usually try to slightly overdry it, and then throw it in jar with a boveda pack overnight. Comes out really nice the next day

Oh yeah....this was the lowest bud on the CJH......i am quite impressed with the size and density for being at the bottom.......i was hoping for like 8 to 10 oz but looking at her i am guessing maybe 6 to 7 at most......but as long as it is more than 5 then i have done better than my best

I just had a thought and thought i would share......I use the Gas Light Routine (GLR) and have been for i think over a year now......but anyway when i explain the benefits to someone i mainly focus on the growth rate of mine and the energy savings.....i have heard some people talk about faster transition times to flower.........i have yet to see this with mine?......i am wondering if i am mmissing a step......i know there is the diminishing light schedule and have looked at it but it is not really feasible in perpetual so i dont use it......it just dawned on me as mmy PC and LH that i put on 12/12 10 days ago....well the PC just showed today and the LH still has no signs......my CJH was around 10 days as well......i believe my critical kushes were also in that neighborhood.........from what i can remember that is the same time frame as when i was on 18/6......so if someone see's a reason for this please tell me.....lol.....the only thing i can figure is maybe it is strain dependent and i just happend to get all of them that like to wait a little longerlol........ok......thought over

Ive found that there is a little more to it than most people think.
I used the GLR and had signs on the 3rd day of 12/12, but one of the major things to take into account is your feeding.
You want to prep the girls for 7-10 days before flowering by changing from veg feed to flower feed (this includes your additives as well)
that way when the switch happens, the hormonal build up from the GLR will allow the plant to immediately use all of the building blocks at its disposal to start flowering.
And since youve been getting it full of the right stuff for 7-10days it can start those physiological changes that result in flowering signs almost instantly.
(that being said there is also the genetic differences in each strain. some flower early some flower late.)

Ok....now that makes complete sense.......i have always been under the impression that you continuing feeding veg nutes through about the first week of 12/2........to aid with the stretch........but to use the GLR and the hormonal build up i understand the difference now......ok.....i will start flower nutes a week early next time.....will be my WW.....shoot....i need to go ahead and do that soonlol......Thank you Jinn.....i wonder if i will get less stretch by switching?hmmmmm.....

With my girls, since I started pistil formation on day 3 of 12/12, the stretch phase didn't happen until week 3 of actual flowering.
They just started asymmetrical growth, got hair everywhere then 18-21 days into it, boom! stretch like 9" in 3-4 days.
It worked out pretty well because around week 3 Im upping the flowering feed strengths and feeding azomite anyways, so the stretch takes advantage of those building blocks.

I put mine on a 50/50 bloom/veg feed a week before flower & flick the bloom switch on my LED. I then put into the flower tent & usually in 3-5 days will see she's in flower. If I have Bud Blood, that gets used for the 1st week, if not, I feed a low dose of bloom nutes 2ml/L & 1ml/L PK13-14 for the 1st 3 weeks of flower then introduce boosters & drop the PK13-14
