Mr Teddy's Greek Indoor Grow - Indicas - Soil - LEDs

The public power corporation here sucks, i had somewhat the same problem the first day my babies sprouted, had a good 12 hours of darkness due to these weekend power cuts. I think it's some maintenance thing they do every other weekend but at least they could be consistent about it so many people don't lose money over it, like growers or maybe online streamers. Lots of people make their living workin with machines so the least they could do is let us know when these things are going down so we can manage our workshop schedule better.

i'm no expert on hormones Mr.T, my guess is that one day shouldn't be a big deal. Sorry i couldn't be of more help, i can see how what's going on right now can be frustrating

best wishes old chap

It's the extended period of darkness that tips the hormone balance into flowering, so they've got themselves a nice dose of non-flower hormones during all that light period. You're still on the edge of safe, but it's time to focus. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Get them right back to the very same schedule they had and then load a pipe and just relax. One day, no problem ... two days, gotta be more careful. :cheesygrinsmiley:

:Namaste:

[Edit] To get them back on track, more dark is better - if you have to go a long cycle. Get them into darkness pronto.

Thanks so much, Gray. I couldn't believe what I'd done when I reached in the window to pull the thermometer out and saw the pink glow. Forgive me - for clarity - so to put them back on the usual schedule, I'll either have to put the lights back on in an hour at 1pm (which means they'll have had just 2 hours of darkness in 24), or run them through a full 26 hours of darkness until 1pm tomorrow.

What do you think?

*bruised shins from kicking myself*

Thanks 420brother. It would be easy for me to blame the power cuts, but forgetting to re-set the timer - again - is all down to Mr Teddy.

Ok - you're all obviously a-bed. :cheesygrinsmiley: It's just gone 1pm here and I'm going to keep them in the dark until 1pm tomorrow (that'll be 26 hours of night) to get them back on the regular schedule, (1pm to 1am light) I have no idea whether that's the right choice, but I'm guessing that dark is better than light at this stage.

I'll keep an eager eye out for any responses here.

I recall promising drama one page 1. Sorry to deliver. :)

I saw you over at OldMan's place & see here Gray's given about as good or better of an answer than I could.

Thanks, Reg. So the extended period of darkness that Gray suggested if necessary is what I'm going for. Thanks so much for being here too.

I am sooo grumpy with myself.

.......also encouraged by 'Likes' from Master of Ceremonies, Mr RR. Thank you, Sir. A simple click means much to me.

you are being too hard on yourself Mr T :icon_roll

mistakes are only human

the whole life on Earth is the cosmic equivalent of what happens when by mistake you forget to store things in a cool dry place

you have done a wonderful job with far more complex things, no need to beat yourself up over that

just a plug with some numbers on it ;)

Hello Mr Teddy
as said don't be hard on yourself ,, man the mistakes I make ,, I reckon like graytail said the extra darkness will give her flowering hormones a nice boost before there big day. :circle-of-love:

Ah, you are all so kind.

"the whole life on Earth is the cosmic equivalent of what happens when by mistake you forget to store things in a cool dry place" ..... very good, Greek neighbour, 420 brother. :bravo: Yes, even though I'm Catholic, I don't quite hold with the whole Garden of Eden myth. :laughtwo: Although it is a great story. I recall reading one of those crazy Renaissance theological debates: Did Adam have a navel? I'm aware of the Dawinian - Dawkins tree of evolution. We are indeed just one random branch amongst billions that happened to make it. :thumb:

Still, I hate screwing up the simple stuff. Being a twisted twig. Ain't that always what gets us? :cheesygrinsmiley:

:thanks: my English friend jaga. I like the way you walk through life. Bless you. :circle-of-love:

Just over two hours before the lights can go back on after yesterday's fiasco.

I'm supposed to be working, but I'm too nervous.

:ciao: friend Rico. Because my understanding (which is at best limited) was that it's important to get them back on the same schedule (1pm - 1am lights on). Does it matter? Then-zero - I don't know. My most used Greek phrase.
:cheer:

Florigen, eh Rico? My finger always trembles with a mix of brave new world anticipation and Astley-induced fear before clicking on one of your links. :whoa::blushsmile: And I wouldn't put it past you to have written that whole Wiki entry just for fun.

Thank you.

At midday (10mins ago) the lights went back on. I tentatively opened the tent. Was I to discover three strapping fellas, standing aggressively over the airpots, drinking pints of strong lager and talking about Chelsea?

But all seems well. The only difference is that Blueberry is bending further with her heavyweight buds. :yahoo:

TOO FUNNY! I see you know my friend well. LOL

But he's one of the one's that got me on my feet so he doe's have a serious side.

Did you know he grew a cannabis plant upside down? True story.
