Mr Teddy's Greek Indoor Grow - Indicas - Soil - LEDs

All this Math, Latin, and weed, it's like I'm back skipping High-School.

With a name like Xavarian, you know what you're in for when your parents break the news to you.

Your BB would be perfect for a late night wind down. God, you're gonna love that.
Very happy for you both, glad to hear of your snows. We got buried in Boston, and our streets are old deer paths - it's an unbelievable mess. I'm near MIT in Cambridge (you know, the newer one) and there's an 'Alps' on campus. A literal mountain of snow. Can't make this stuff up.

I should also come clean and admit - I'm a chronic defoliator. I'm not ashamed. :grinjoint:

:peace: 'n

Geez, CareStaker my heart goes out to you....poor Boston just has WWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY too much to deal with right now......on the news last nite they mentioned Boston snow plows have traveled 285, 000 miles so far this winter.....a couple times to the moon and back. Stay Boston Strong, bro.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

So true!!

Have I confessed my regrettable tendencies towards pendantry? If not, I do so now. :Namaste:

... although I also have our beloved herb to blame, with its quirky mental effects. Doesn't everyone love to do math in their head (or latin translations for that matter) when they're stoned? :hmmmm: Oh ... yeah, heheh ... guess not.

:tokin:

puff puff pass

I do Greytail. :laughtwo: I enjoy the mental gymnastics and the tangents the herb brings into play. It lends a special air to the math. I'm just not always right. LOL!

I'm glad I ended my day at this table. That was a good series of laughs. Mr. Teddy, you run a fun party for sure.

Be safe, all you buried in the snow.

I liked Boston the few times I went there. Quality place, good bars and very friendly folk. But my, you have some weather. At least you have snow ploughs. We have Demitris and his bulldozer. He finally came past yesterday as I was finishing digging out the drive - Mrs Teddy, with her Graytail-like brain, reckoned I'd shifted 1,500 cubic feet of snow. It did feel like a lot. About time too. We're down to our last, droopy carrot, half a tin of dog food and some sour milk. Yum Yum. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Ah, well, now you see, Sweetsue, it's all about the quality of the party-goers. I just look after the music whilst Mrs Teddy mixes the Martinis and White Russians (that Graytail is a demon for a White Russian).

I'm lucky. This is a quality crowd.

I'll get some snaps at T.I. (Trichome Inspection) this afternoon. Have a good day, everyone. :circle-of-love:

Speaking of "White Russian" , You should grow one. Kind of the same thing but high on THC! :thedoubletake:

.....but then I might get Graytail's order confused.

FLOWERING DAY 58
WINTER SUN

BEAUTIFUL BLUEBERRY is still the pick of the bunch as a plant. The most even-headed with the biggest and firmest buds and as frosty as outside is snowy. A good, symmetrical-ish structure and few popcorn buds. (And that's not just because we smoked them.) The energy seems to be going into the tops. About 15.3% amber.

MESSY MAZAR is all over the shop. She's a real half-and-half with a bunch of buds on short stems on one side and budding stems twice the height on the other. Maybe she missed her turning. Or maybe she's just made that way. Still a week or so behind the others, her buds are also the smallest and least dense. Amber Count: I looked everywhere....

MAGIKAL MASTER KUSH has the most distinctive smell. Like when you're on holiday somewhere hot, walking through a strange village and everything seems faintly exotic, which inexplicably makes you feel profoundly happy. That's how she smells. Approximately 14.7% amber.

:laughtwo: Oh, I see you also noticed that Gray. :laughtwo: That's about approximately exact! We love you Teddy.

I know Greytail. How does he determine it that close?

Mr. Teddy, something tells me Greytail wouldn't complain if the White Russian you served was smokable. :laughtwo:

they frosted up real nice :circle-of-love:

By the shade of sunlight coming through your glass doors I'd say you had a beautiful day over there. Was beautiful here too, but with a cold that drove into the bone. It made me long for Summer.

I can't believe I haven't been following you (and a few others) until now. Better late than never I suppose. Keep it up sir!

PS - That Blueberry is a beautiful specimen.

:ciao:

:thanks: everybody for your kind comments. :cheesygrinsmiley: Very much appreciated.

Sweetsue - the calculation for the percentage of amber is a straightforward matter. Simply count every single trichome, noting the number of amber ones. Then divide the number of amber by the total and multiply by 100. I use a calculator to make the process a little quicker. :cheesygrinsmiley:

:welcome::welcome::welcome: ClosedCircuit Very happy to have you aboard. Perfect timing to watch the girls come to a sticky end. :laughtwo:

*****

A question to you all, my knowledgeable Green Friends, as thoughts turn to harvest :cheesygrinsmiley:- Where shall I hang and dry them?

Last summer's buds were hung during autumn in the apothiki - an insulating space built around three sides of the house where I store winter logs, gardening tools, soil etc. It's dark and well ventilated and always cool - probably around freezing at night at the moment.

Or would they be better off hung indoors in a dark cupboard, slightly less well ventilated, where the temperatures are about 18-20C (64-68F)?

Happy weekends to you. :circle-of-love:

The cupboard would be much better. And at those temps, it'll be a nice slow cure ... albeit fragrant. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Those buds are beautiful. I love your Kush description. I'm only getting hints of it as of yet on my girl.

I would worry that outside, condensate would accumulate during temp drops, and mold would follow.

During periods of low RH, you can reduce ventilation, to increase ambient RH if necessary. I use cardboard boxes to dry in during the dry months. Otherwise, it dries too fast. Definitely cupboard, just air it out when you can. :)

:thanks: Gray and Care. Indoors it is.

Now - DISASTER JUST DISCOVERED.

Need your advice - again. Sorry.

Due to more power cuts here, then me - stoopid stoopid stoopid - forgetting to put the timer back, the girls have just had 20 HOURS OF LIGHT. Arghh.

This morning at 11am I put them immediately back into darkness. Shall I simply start the 12/12 schedule again from 11 to 11? Or should I put the lights back on again at 1pm this afternoon as usual and return to the 1pm to 1am cycle, which means they will have only had 2 hours of darkness in the last 24 hours?

Arghh. Stoopid.

It's the extended period of darkness that tips the hormone balance into flowering, so they've got themselves a nice dose of non-flower hormones during all that light period. You're still on the edge of safe, but it's time to focus. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Get them right back to the very same schedule they had and then load a pipe and just relax. One day, no problem ... two days, gotta be more careful. :cheesygrinsmiley:

:Namaste:

[Edit] To get them back on track, more dark is better - if you have to go a long cycle. Get them into darkness pronto.
