Thanks 420brother. Do have another Martini. Afraid we've run out of buds. :circle-of-love:

.......

It was time for a watering today. Sorry - no time for snaps because I had to prep and give English lessons to the village kids. (Something happens to Greek boys at about age 13. Before that they could not be sweeter, more polite or keener pupils. After that, they're a bunch of pouting, moody, raucous gremlins. Or is that just all boys?).

Masterkush is showing quite a few yellowing, inner, lower fan leaves, deep in the interior. I've seen this on other journals and am assuming that it's a natural process and/or just a lack of light penetration. All buds and top leaves are still looking good and green and increasingly frosty. Do tell me if I should worry. :cheesygrinsmiley: I'll get some snaps up tomorrow.

Peace be with you all. Mr Teddy x

I wouldn't worry about lower fans discolouring... It's a natural process as what they had to offer has been used...

I think it's all boys.... Well at least Greek and Aussie boys, lol....maybe it's cause we have the largest Greek population outside of Athens... Influential lot those Greeks, lol...

I've been known to play some guitar Mr. Teddy but I'm not the chap you're referring to :) Most of my time was on Crete, but I was also in Athens for some work. One of the few places I've been to that I'd love to go back. Love the grow, nice work!

Mostly all boys I think Mr T. Some time round 13-14 their brains go on vacation, some minimal life-support protocol is activated (biased toward fight rather than flight) that runs things till the brain returns at around age 17-21. Derivation of what my eldest son said to me one day a few months after his 20th birthday.
He was the sweetest boy till around 13-14 when he; what felt like overnight, turned in into a total prat. I had all but given up hope for him when he one day came up to me and said: "Oh! hi dad, I'm back, sorry for the way I've acted, my brain has been on vacation."
Since then he has been the most urbane, articulate, kind person one can imagine.

Looking back, I realise I must have been a right terror myself at that age.

:thanks: Grizz. How are your plants down south? Last time I heard you'd had to leave them for a week. Is all well? Do tell.

Yes, they are smart people, the Greeks. Mrs Teddy lived in Sydney for 4 years in the '80s where she started up a bunch of clubs. Oh, the stories she tells. Would you like to hear the one about the week she chaperoned Ice T and his crew around the city? I would. But she never quite finishes it....:laughtwo:

Cheers, petergreen. I was only messing around. But the wonderful and terribly sad Pete Green really was a guitar hero of mine. Going back to places ...I think that one reaches an age when one only wants to repeat quality experiences. It's when there's less left than you've had. It's called maturity. :laughtwo:

It sounds like you've brought up a good one there, OMe. No better or bigger or more important :bravo:.

MASTERKUSH MASTERCLASS

So we're about a month into flowering and I'd like your opinions on Masterkush, if I may. As I posted above, she's got a few, inner canopy leaves yellowing and falling. I'm Lestered about it because (a) I saw this outdoors last summer with Passion No.1 and (b) Grizz says also not to worry. They look like they've just done their job. Still, no harm sharing a few snaps. Here's the potting shed tonight, pretty full with three ladies in a 4x4ft space. Maybe I could have squeezed one or two more in. :cheesygrinsmiley: Next time.

Everything up top is looking splendid and increasingly snowy. Blueberry particularly has a wonderful, deep, green-blue hue, like sunlit sea over marble rocks. Mazar and to a greater extent Masterkush are having inner fan leaf yellowing. I pulled Masterkush out of the tent this afternoon to show you. No panic at all, but since I have an even better crew here than Robert de Niro in 'Heat', I'd be stupid not to see what you think.

Thanks for being there, Playmates. :ciao: It wouldn't be half as much fun without you.

Pip Pip! Mr Teddy x

That looks totally normal to me, You should see the disarray my Trellis Ladies are in! Their skirts are really very unattractive, can't wait for the Defoliation day!

But b.real brings up a good point, N promotes green leafy growth! So if you're actually worried follow his advice:)

BUT, I must say I think the ladies are absolutely gorgeous!! Do you think you could take some Height measurements for us? :circle-of-love:

Man I'm an old hip hop head, drum and bass raver.. IceT is the best performer I've ever seen live... He was supporting public enemy, and blew them away.... Outdoor plants are all good, my indoors were stuffed, expected. I grow in coir and they didn't get a feed for two weeks, and that hot weather, ouch.. I'll just clone some outsiders and start again.. Mr Teddy feel privileged, as I don't do this.. But I know your a good man and will be willing to do my time if I'm arrested, lol
My backyard girl...when I got back she was popping her head over the fence. I tied her down and exposed all the lower growth.. She's around 4'high now, 6' now in length and a little over 4' wide.. Small girl but I think she'll produce some nice flowers, which are about to start

I see that on my low inner fans all the time when you get well into flowering Mr. Teddy. for my less defoliated plants at least... defoling could help in the future (but not for these ones now haha)... If they're not getting light, they're probably not gonna look too great, leaves need light to stay green haha. Plus when they aren't doing anything useful the plant starts to use up the nutrients stored in them, to at least get something outta the lazy leaves. :laughtwo: :Namaste: I'd say its totally natural and not to worry... your plants look great! :circle-of-love:

excellent update Mr Teddy, truly a beauty that masterkush is. Gotta love the strain

I saw a guy on youtube a while ago, he was hitting a fullmelt bubblehash of a masterkush that was being cured for 7 years :thedoubletake:

What an absolute classic, i think that's going to be your favorite out of all 3 when you get to taste them all.

Oh, and don't stress it about the yellow leaves. Probably dying off of low light exposure, most people prun these little fellas anyway, so either way they are going to die, in this case they fed your ladies a bit before they go so you got that going for you :grinjoint:

Few more weeks to go, can't wait :tommy:

and btw i think that's all 13 y/o boys, not just greek ones :ganjamon:

:thanks::thanks::thanks:

Lordy, Lordy, Lordy. I love you lot. This is a place where only kindness lives.

give her a little extra nitrogen if you're worried.

No, I'm really not worried. I'll simply carry on. All these replies have confirmed what I thought. And I'm working towards my GOOD SOIL BADGE, awarded by SoilGirl. Hoping that my mum can sew it onto my shirt later this year.:cheer:

The airpots are exactly 12 inches tall. By the way, notice those shiny, frosty things standing up on the leaves? Thrips? Deficiency? Never seen them around here before. They're popping up everywhere. I shall call them 'Mychomes'.

You might keep more fan leaves alive by feeding major nutrients, but I don't think it will make a difference to your final yield.
Not that my opinion matters, I suck as a grower this round :)

Oh, Radogast...I loved reading your journal all the way through this morning. You know your opinion matters round here. And I thank you for it. :circle-of-love:

Those outdoor photos in the antipodean sun are definitely worthy of a bumpette, Grizz. Beautiful plant, really lovely. What is it? :bravo: I'm touched that you've shared it here. :cheesygrinsmiley: Sure I'll do your time. I think after the spat we had today that Mrs. Teddy would appreciate me being out of the way for a few years. Obviously if I keep my mouth shut the usual $50,000 will be in my account on release. :thanks:

:thanks: SG. Yeah, yeah - I get it - I should have manned up and defoliated properly.

Your responses are ALWAYS useful and appreciated. :circle-of-love:

:cheer: 420brother. She does look good, although the most beautiful right now is Blueberry - wonderful deep blue-green leaves. And OMM reckons that Mazar will be my favourite. Looking forward to finding out.

I wouldn't give her anything besides loads of K and P :laughtwo: Think of it this way, those leafs were useful to the girl to a point, where she decided that energy could be used some other way, like making those buds fat and juicy :biglaugh:

Gorgeous girls!! :circle-of-love:

:goodjob:

Hullo :ciao: daT. Hope all's top of the shop with you. Don't tell SG, but I'm going to continue the BioBizz (little) Grow (and slightly more) Bloom and TopMax every other watering which did well for me in the summer. Shhhh....:circle-of-love:

:thanks: again, everyone. Pip Pip! Mr Teddy x

I believe blueberry will be a fave for you and the missus too. The last blueberry I had smelled really fruity and you could taste it too. :passitleft: nice job Teddy the plants look gorgeous.

Thank you, Jade. Blueberry is certainly the most pungent at the moment and is showing the best gathering buds. I am trembling with excitement, like a small white dog being promised a run on the beach. :goof:
:circle-of-love:

Well, keep da mouth shut.......and......stay out of Mrs Teddy's Way. Everything else seems very nice.

Aloha OMM. As the brave man I am, I kept my head down and now EVERYTHING is very nice. :circle-of-love:
