Mr. Cooper's 2024 Grow Journal In RDWC Under L.E.D.

Nothing crazy to report, just bud sites starting to fatten up a bit. Getting very frosty. Still have a long way to go, but they are heading in the right direction. These pics are for me as much or more than for you. I will need to be able to go back and review the progress as it happened and be able to see the dates. I can dig it baby! 🎶 @StoneOtter You and me both. for the first grow in over 40 years as well as first grow even in hydro and inside, I could not be happier with how it's going so far. Still fretting over future proplems, etc. That's in my nature and why I can't wait until I'm able to once again smoke and unwind. My mind won't quit worrying about what might happen in every aspect of life, work, grow, etc.

Question for the group. Do you think I need to go down in the middle and defoliate again. I am usually so proactive on that, but have read how you need to leave the leaves at this stage to give the plant something to scavenge if needed? I am so freaked out about possible mold or bud rot I want to clean out the understory, but am at a loss on this matter right now. I took a few pics looking down into the underskirt area for reference. Officially 74 days into the grow today and 36 days since flipped to 12/12 cycle.

I’m one of those that heavily promotes keeping fans as much as possible, but I also promote air flow, light penetration and trying to do what’s healthiest for our girls. I’d say it does look a little crowded and that I’d be paying close attention to the leaves and gradually removing the oldest ones at this stage. I’d still caution against panic and extreme defoliation measures while focusing on RH and temps as top priority.

@budnoob3 Thanks. I appreciate the feedback. Kinda what I thought too. I want to clear it out, but don't want to hurt the plants at this stage when they can't recover or regrow any leaves. I do have 2 fans below oscillating and 2 fans above trying to keep good airflow. I totally agree it's definitely crowded.
 
I like to save leaves. Air flow is important both up top and down below so some defoliating is necessary, just be conservative. I like the way they look from here.
