Mr Am4zin's Perpetual Journey

My thankyou :high-five:

While I was lay in bed last night, I had a thought. Yes it hurt but it makes sense, to me anyway.
When I mix the feeds I add plenty of ph up to bring the level to 6.5. Now my ph up isn't really for plants, it for aquarium use. I have a belief that this is where my problems sit. Stop using that particular ph up and buy a proper bottle. I shall be putting this to the test to confirm but it looks likely to me.
Happy tuesday

Mr. A....you could always use baking soda to adjust up. It's as natural as it gets.

Morning boyz!

You threw me for a loop with the Pigeon and stages info. Haha I had to go back and see if I missed anything. Haha

Good to see you guys!

He threw you for a loop, for a time I thought I was you :passitleft:

I used to use baking powder but was using quite a bit of it. Another member who uses biobbizz says the soil is ph buffered to 6.6 and will return to that buffered level within 24 hours. Not mine cos it's full of ph up. He doesn't adjust his feeds to ph 6.5 he let's the soil do it. I'm gonna yy this and do away with ph pens and ph up and own for good.

The need to build my own soil so I don't have to fuck about with it.

Plant water harvest. Easy

If you can, use potassium bicarbonate (pH 8.2) or heat it in the oven at about 200F for an hour to make potassium carbonate (pH 11.5).

This is used in wine making and as a substitute for baking soda which contains sodium. Potassium is good for your plants, sodium not so much :)

Beat me to it Robert The Bruce, I mean Robert Celt :)

I'm using Pottasium Bicarbonate for up and lemon juice for down currently, not that I need the down as the Epsom Salts take me to an acidic place, lately I've not been messing with either though with the organic soil. Shhh though, I won't tell anyone if you don't ;)

Thanks for your input guys, I'll pick some up later
I do believe a welcome to my journal is in order for Robert. :welcome:

Rolling is a lost art. Us old folks do it best :thumb:
So, what are you saying Flybye? Calling me old? :laughtwo:

Ive used bonemeal as an additive to my soil before, as its slow release i mix it in when potting...

I was wondering if you could mix some with water and heat it gently... To help release the good stuff, like a tea, then hopefully it will get to the ladies quickly.... Just brainstorming really, have considered it myself but dont know if it works

:Namaste:
Bonemeal is one of the ingredients I use in PJs Organic Soil Mix.

Thankyou, I've had nothing but issues with the biobizz so far, I either need to get it dialed in properly or make a switch to something else.
Have you thought about trying Pj's simple Soil Mix Mr. Amazing? It's a "just add water" medium and I always have near perfect results with it.

I think I'm a beast at rolling, and I'm not old.... but I do live in the US.

Look at my perfect blunt! :passitleft:

Ido intend to get myself onto a soil mix like Pj uses. Unable to source some parts of his mix in the UK without ridiculous shipping charges from the states. Yum yum mix as an example $45 to ship to the UK. I even priced up docbuds kit. I'll get me a soil mix soon.
Good to see ya Reg
