Mr Am4zin's Attempt At Fluxing A Monster - And A Few Side Projects

Thanks Mr A, The support here is just well, I cant put it into words, I just feel so overwhelmed by everything that is happening here, but that monster you got in your closet is a nice distraction:jawdropper:
Hope you've had a good Sunday:passitleft:

This community is just the greatest at pulling together when one of its members needa help. And yeah she is a great distraction, she served me well so far and I thank you for the bean. :passitleft:

oh no they talk about the monster boogeyman again... I go hide......scary monster..

Embrace the monster birdie, embrace it. She means no harm. :high-five:

I'm really sorry this has happened puregreen. I've had my house robbed before and it's the worst feeling. Knowing someone went through all your things without asking and took what they please. Me and my partner will definitely be helping out! Just a question but could it have been they knew about the plants and that's why they choose you? Either way I hope you get back to it soon ✌✌

MR A I liked this post it means yer getting crispy baked:geek:

Well past the crispy stage my friend, almost burned :lot-o-toke:

it's going to recover fine, you may not even see any effect on the plant development. with what you did, it could be like nothing ever happened !
just for info, did you put something before doing the bandage (like, using some nutrient or something)?

Hey space, not sure what you are referring to. I'm assuming it was here big split? :passitleft:

Yeah it was a while ago, and she never even felt it. I didn't use anything on her other than super strength cannabis bonding tape (electrical tape) and some rubber coated training wire. I do have the arms supported with canes to stop them pushing down. I've not opened the tape to see how she repaired herself, I'll save that for harvest day. :passitleft:

Fluxing Monster
Pure Chocolope
Day 146

12/12 + 37
Pistels + 34

OK guys n gals I have an issue I need to fix. It would appear that I have a mag deficiency and possibly phosphorus also. I'm pretty sure it's a nutrient salt build up in the soil that is causing low soil pH (happens to me often in mid flower) causing the lock out.
This has happened because of the way this girl feeds (every six days) so I've not been giving water in between her feeds. Normally, I would correct by flushing the plant with a shite load of water and finish with a feed but thats where it gets tricky. I am not able to get my plant out to a place where flushing would be possible so I'm open to other suggestions. She had 3 liters of water tonight and I'll tackle any suitable suggestions tomorrow evening.

Is there any way to lift her and get some sort of shallowish tote under her? Then you could flush and then siphon out the water. :thumb:

In a hardware store , look for those plastic traysthat go under beds, or in a growshop you can find drip tray of various size (and why not the flexible floor tray of a growbox, i know they can be found on their own - but less good to keep water in because it is flexible) . I have a metallic letter tray (A4 size) to put to the pot on it, it's high enough to let water flow. i'm still looking for a system to suck a lot of water out.

Just use a siphon tube!!!!:thumb:

I would slide a sheet of heavy poly underneath her. You can slide her out onto edge of plastic, slide her and plastic back, tape plastic to secure, slide her out again, release tape and slide both back... Eventually you will have plastic sheet up sides of cabinet and large lip in front. Use boards to raise edges of lip to make retention pond to catch all run-off. After you suck up run-off just cut the plastic off rather than trouble pulling it back out.

VAriation: Leave the plastic pond and install palm trees and flamingos.

Variation 2: get long narrow sheet of plastic to create trout stream, or for racing toy boats.

Variation 3: Turn AC to overload and go ice skating.

I'm sure Mrs. A would really enjoy the flamingos. :Namaste:

I have no trays big enough to go under her and small enough to fit the space, I've been looking for one since I got this pot. Good idea tho. :passitleft:

she looks really heavy....:volcano-smiley:

She is very heavy. :circle-of-love:

This isn't just a great idea, it also had me laughing really hard. I think this is the way I'll tackle this problem.

Loose Lips Sink Ships...

True that Mr Dan. First rule of grow club, tell no one about grow club. Second rule of grow club, see rule number one.

Haha, made me laugh too

Mr. A I'm in the keys no such thing as winter

Sounds ideal for outdoor growing. My mother is headed your way in a few weeks for a holiday.

Edit

I've also ordered some potassium bicarbonate, this stuff is used by farmers to raise the ph of soil. Not my idea, this was the brain child of my man kraize. We had a good chat late last night and thrashed out a few ideas. This should be delivered in the next couple of days.
