Mr Am4zin's Attempt At Fluxing A Monster - And A Few Side Projects

Grand Master Flux :theband:

Haha not yet but in working on it. :)

I'm subscribed to a couple growers in YouTube. Would love to have another one to watch!

I sub to too many videos already. I'll make one at some point

I'm sure your girls will do the same:bravo:

I'm sure they will :thanks:

Hmmm... Unfortunately at present your just a fluxer, but If you pass the exam and do well at the essay sections (or bribe me with bud) :)
Then once your plant has been fluxed fully, only then can I bestow the honor of the order of the grand high fluxationists upon thee! :)
Once admitted into this sacred brotherhood you shall be from that day and forever more known as a True Master Fluxer! ;)

I'm gonna start my next flux off tonight with her topping and this one will be the 100% video flux for my last little salute to my little style ;)

Best of buds my friend, and I've got 4 days on at work then I'll be sorting my post out :)

This made me laugh today, thankyou, I needed it. I will probably go with a bribe, I'm not much good when it comes to exams and writing many words at the same time.
Looking forward to the videos as I look forward to anything you do.

Can't wait for that video LA

RoorRip Hi noob

Good afternoon Am4zin! :passitleft:

Just scrolled back a few pages and compared yours at day 23 and ours at day 23...looks like ours is about 2 or 3 days behind pace of yours. Not to worry, she is I getting some full strength action tonight so hopefully we catch up! Lol.

Hi Nismo, Watch her go after a feed, that was when mine took off. New pot and food and off she went. Mine had another feed last night, 1 and half gallon, still no run off, I'm used to feeding a liter at a time in my small pots. :passitleft:

Just curious if someone could give me a bit o advice. I read here about fluxing the first time about 6 days ago. So being my first time indoor and just being all around impatient after I seen all the absolutely stunning pictures of beautiful ladies in Flux I hadda try it. Right then more or less. So yesterday, high on big dreams of my first indoor grow not to mention a super successful Flux grow I tried to train my one little plant. Not so successfully I might add. I topped her ten days ago. She is strong and very healthy. Was.
I broke both branches about a half inch from main stem. Symmetrically, that turned out awesome at least ☺
I taped them both up as soon as I broke each one individually. Just like there was some clinical procedure I was putting it though.
Question is; should I trim fan leaves and leaves on colas like for transpiration and take out of direct light to avoid further shock ? Thanks

I broke (not completely) 2 branches last week on 2 of my re-veg girls. I put them back up and taped them.

Sometimes, if you don't know what to do, it's best to do nothing.

As you travel around the site you'll find that many breaks will be taped with something and possibly splinted with a tooth pick or something. Then it is just left alone to see if that part worked. Just keep them on the same watering schedule and monitor closely.

I am gonna start journal in a few minutes. Just a warning to tha pros out there. It will be somewhat sparse and lack depth as it will be my first time keeping one. But I will do my best

Well welcome to :420:! Pictures and a little bit of information goes a long way. So when you do get your journal going we can help you. That's the beauty of having this forum, everyone is very eager to help. If you are having issues and no one is coming to the rescue, I have noticed newbies pop into a high traffic journal and ask the pros what to do and what is going on. No one knows everything, but collectively as a community we help each other. Just remember, the more information we have, the better the odds that we can help. You've stumbled upon a great journal filled with some of the greatest growers. :thumb:

Thank you man. I appreciate your information and help. You do mean tie her all the way down ? Then grow away from there around bucket ?

How long since they broke? If both of them main arms were broken recently, where the tape is, do not add any stress to them arms for a bit. You need to allow time for the break to heal.
I broke a branch or 2 in my time, bit of electrical tape and a toothpick to splint it and left for a couple of weeks for it to heal. If you start putting too much pressure on there it will break again very easily.

Is she due for a re potting?
If she is, sink her quite well into the pot, deep so the main growing points are near soil level. This will stop too much downward pressure being applied.

If she were mine, I would leave her be for a couple of weeks and see how she does. Like Jim said, if your not sure what to do its probably best to do nothing. She looks healthy enough for now.

Man o man I screwed this up in so many ways and so quick. But nothing too serious I think. I just transplanted her 5 days ago. Here's the skinny what's gone down in the last hour. I took her out from under the lights and bent her over and tied her down to the lip. Fired all lights back up and all ahead full. Just gonna wait for a couple weeks to manipulate new growth on two main stems.
Thank you.

Thanks for welcome words nismo and advice. Starting journal but wasn't prepared for that yet.
Adapt we must, I suppose.

Monday Update

Good evening everybody and welcome to my Monday update. I'm going to start with my soon to be problem child, I gotta have one, right? I always have at least one. I don't normally try and diagnose deficiencies, I just up the feed a bit next time round :) The girl I am referring to my Berry Bomb Auto . She is at day 33 today. I do believe she is showing me either a potassium or calmag deficiency, her leaves are fading to yellow in color with rusty looking spots. Stating with her lower leaves and moving slowly upwards.

I corrected by upping her feed. I upped her calmag and introduced some topmax into the mix. Hopefully this will halt the yellowing and I can keep to plan on harvesting green plants.
Here is the rest of her.

The little Dark Devil Auto Is at day 20. She showed me pistels yesterday :circle-of-love: I took this as her was of forgiving my stoner error. The big heavy jack she sits in had some drainage holes drilled into the bottom to allow drainage and some airflow onto the roots. These holes, however, don't work when the flat Base of the heavy jack is say on the flat Base of my growbox? I was wondering why she was taking 6 days to dry her 1/3 liter of soil. Popped her on a wire rack. Sorted.

This little AK47 Auto Is also at 33 days today. She is doing well despite being squashed into a corner. Her leaves are a luscious even green and she is budding up nicely. He feed uptake has increased a little, I'll introduce her to some topmax tomorrow when she will take her next feed.

And Finally.......

The star of the show, Pure Chocolope Is at 34 days. This girl continues to grow quickly, with no sign of slowing down :) I'm still stunned at the rate of growth. She had some more growth removed from her secondary arms and all her straps checked and adjusted tonight and she had her feed last night, took 6 liters with no runoff.

:thanks:

Happy MondayMr Am4zin

You have patience my friend, the Chocolope looks fantastic. Every time I look at your garden I can not believe you grow all of that in that "Tiny" little area, I just do not grasp how you are able to do it, you are truly Am4zin ;)

Thankyou my friend. I manage so much in small space cos I use small pots, small pots =small plants. And cos I'm Amazin :) I'm gonna start to have space issues very soon tho, I'm having to make sure I don't trap them in the door when I close up.
Good to see you OG

Awesome work my good sir. Tons of noticeable growth throughout. :bravo:

Cheers buddy

Looks great Am4zin! Happy Monday!

Thanks Canna, Happy Tuesday :passitleft:
your girls just did what you asked them to do:goodjob:they look good:circle-of-love:

:thanks:

If you're having space issues now, just wait until that monster your creating is able to stretch it wings in flower!!!

Mine got to the point where it was 28" across and wouldn't fit through my small 2' door without having to bend the colas in.
