Hiya Pure, she is loving the cfl's, I need a better way of hanging them tho.
I've seen the co2 bags but never had the urge to use them, will probably do well in my space with it being small, might have to get one and see how it does. :passitleft: Ed Ros, lovely :passitleft:
 
Hey MrA it's looking damn good in there. I don't know if you remember the 300w CFL and reflector that I used in my veg tent on and off but maybe you could use something like that turned on its side. It might encourage them to grow sideways instead of up though come to think of it. I'm sure you'll rig something up and I'll be here cheering you on :passitleft:
 
CFLS hanging over the fluxing tips is an amazing idea. I think we will use that idea if you don't mind. Maybe getting a double CFL socket so they hang horizontal may be the way to go. Roughly how far away are they about 2"-3"? Looking good in the closet though. :bravo:
 
Yep its how I vegged my first fluxes, just powering the planrt where you want :)
 
That's why you can drop them down on both sides. No worries.

Thanks for your input on my cfl's guys, I'm struggling to drop them onto there side as the flex isn't long enough to position them sideways. I need to come up with another way to mount them, given what I have on hand it's gonna be tricky. A trip to the big shop is in order for tomorrow, until then it's as they are. :passitleft:
 
No visit to a big shop needed if my 300w CFL and reflector can be of use mate. It's sat bagged up in the attic doing nothing, just let me know ;)
 
I think nismos idea of just using a two bulb fixture above each flux will be your cheapest and easiest fix.

We have a standard bulb that has a bayonet fitting

We can get the screw type bulbs but the sockets are a bit harder to come by when buying separately and not part of a full lamp.

*edit* can't imagine taking light bulbs with me when I travel tho, most places I visit provide them free of charge. :rofl:

Exactly what I was talking about! I'm not an electrician but if you have a pipe issue, I can handle that lol.
