I have faith :) should be all good, i did the same to my Psychotropic Mass i just harvested at around week 3 of flower and it came back nicely, probably the best resin producing branch of the lot :thumb: Everything is looking awesome mouser, get some rest :)

Alas, I found it limp and dying an hour later. Stuck it in some dirt with a dusting of Great White and a shot of clonex. If it takes it will be one of those funky reveg clones that take forever and a year.

The last AK I harvested (Crosseyed Mary) was one of those funky reveg clones. Strongest shit I have ever smoked. I actually gave it away because 2 hits had me grinding my teeth for a few hours trying not to wig out. Really not a fan of losing control, so this was WAY outside my wheelhouse. The friend I gave it to texted me a few hours later "I thought you were Fkng with me....O.O"

As far as updates go, today was a big day for me :) After fudging it for months (nearly a year) without a pH pen, I finally got my new Neulog USB sensor up and running. This thing is sweet. pH'd a bunch of water for the girls in the flower tent. We will start anew with pH'd nutes tomorrow :) I am turning over a new leaf...from here on out I will actually measure stuff :) I know its a bit late for a resolution, but since I actually gave this one some thought it might stick :)

Ok..I have been bad again. Work and health have been getting in the way Thanks for not moving me to the bone yard :)

Since my last post, The Harlequin came down with a disappointing <1oz harvest...boooo. Buds were sticky and nice but very small. Delivered it to my niece yesterday and Im waiting for her report. I found it somewhat meh...in both flavor and effect....and harvest. I have moved in replacements, and the flower tent now includes Blueberry, Panama, Blue Venom, and Carnival...all in 3g softies.

On a down note, one of my flower lights shit the bed. I really need to get on that COB build. In the mean time Ive moved the MARS 300 in to pick up the slack and Im back to the aerogarden hoods in the veg closet. :( Parts are on the way for the busted light, but not sure when they will arive.

Current pictures will have to wait since I will be out watching the Pats kick some ass when the lights come on.

New babies in the veg closet include Purple Mass Skunk, and MoC Northern Lights. Figured I shold start using some seeds. Cloning is the bomb, but it would suck if my seeds went bad. I also seem to have little critters crawling through my coco. Dusted wih a liberal dosing of DE and will cover with a layer of permiculite when I upcan.

Sorry for the boring entry, I will try to make it up with happy greens tomorrow.

Thanks Ditch. Im fine..ish. Been dealing with pneumonia...and trying to keep up at work at the same time. Sorta sucks.

Thanks Grizz. Im trying but just cant afford to stay home and recover fully. Im doing what I can to stay somewhat 'light' at work, but the lungs are definitely NOT happy.

The light was a cheap 2 COB 'The Big River' purchase made by LIGHTIMETUNNEL. The second one just lost a COB yesterday. Im guessing thermal management on these is somewhat lacking. They are only running 12h/day and tent temps are never over 85-90.
Replacement parts are being shipped from China as soon as some festival is over, but Im not holding my breath. You get what you pay for. Im thinking I should just rebuild them myself with better bits. The drivers should be able to make some VERO29s sing, and I can swap out the heat sinks for some ARCTIC coolers. I will see what their next email says before digging in. The lost light in the flower tent is really causing some stretch though :( \


Im hoping to have time to do my own light this weekend.

Sorry for double posting this (also put it in the DIY section)​

It has been many years since my first/only class in electronics. Im hoping someone can answer this for me. Im trying to 'redo' a cheapo cob fixture bought on the rain forest that has died on me. Each COB has 2 36v/1.2a drivers hooked up to it in parallel. Does this result in 36vdc at 2.4a, or 72vdc at 1.2a? As a bonus question, is there a Meanwell ELG series that would do better? I will be driving Vero29s (36.8vdc)

Thanks Tom :) Each grow teaches me something new. The plants in there now are the bushiest ones Ive flowered by far. Im hoping this will translate to a better yield. Though on the other hand, keeping the harvests small has kept odor to a minimum. Ive never even hooked up the carbon filter. I will have to pay attention to the stink if it starts to be pervasive

So....update in the lamps. Customer service got back to me and told me to fix one with the working COB from the other and they will send out a new light ASAP. They also said I could keep the carcass of the old one.

Thanks to Fanleaf's help on my DIY post, I have a Meanwell ELG-200-C2100B on the way from Mouser Electronics...fitting huh? My plan is to reuse the fan driver, swap out the heat sinks with a couple ARCTIC alpine 11+ CPU coolers, and throw in the 2 3500k VERO29s I was going to use for my main light build. I thnk I can alter the reflectors, or just make new ones. According to Fanleaf, that will give me a pretty decent 160w unit. When the bits arrive I will cover the build in the DIY section. Im pretty excited...if this goes well, I will feel more comfy attacking the big light.

Hey mouser, that's so cool, now you are gonna have some serious light in there. Ppl are making 1,5g+ per watt with those lights. Wohoo, get yourself some febreze man, this is gonna get smelly! :bravo: :cheertwo: :Namaste:
