Long Overdue Update (Flower tent week 6?)​

ok...I admit...Ive been bad. Between work and prepping for the holidays I have just not had the time to do a proper update. That said, I have not neglected the girls. More clones have been taken and another batch has been sent off. Thanks Tortured for the idea of using the oven as a cloning room for the colder days.

I still havent gotten around to taking pics of the vegie closet, so this update will focus on the 3 in the flower tent. Quick One finally irritated me enough to pull her...20g dry. Its pretty good night time smoke, but with a 2x4 limit, I really need to get some plants in there that will kick out a few oz each.

I know a bunch of it is laziness and lack of training, but I dont need any help from stringy popcorn machines :P

Shark Shock CBD



Royal Medic



They all look great, but yield is still suffering. i need to be able to let them grow That 5x5 is going up as soon as I clear some space. I will also need the extra space come end of January when I start the years vegies.

As far as other news goes, Im trying my forst batch of Sue's Bio Bomb Brownies with extended decarb this week. Starting with 4g/batch since no one I know comes close to Sue's tolerance (no offense Sue :) most of us are lightweights) I will post results as they come in. Until then, I hope you all had a great holiday season, and wish you a happy New Year :) I hope 2017 brings many more locations into reality and legalization!

Thanks Ditch :) I need to go grab some sticks...they are all getting heavy and the paint brushes arent long enough.
 
FIRST UPDATE OF 2017 (PART 1)​

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had an enjoyable transition to 2017. My holidays were hectic with work, vacation I had to take or lose, and really no time to take it :P My family broke with tradition and actually got me something for Christmas this year (The rule is we buy for the kids only) Unfortunately, what they gave me feels like the plague. >.< I have not felt this miserably sick for a very long time.

But enough whining. On to the show! :cheertwo:

This first part will deal with the more drastic changes from last week. Due mostly to neglect, it appears I have managed to kill the Royal Medic. Im not sure what aspect of my inattention caused this, but she is crispy, leaves have withered away, and what is left is a crunchy mess. I will give her till the weekend to show some improvement, but if not, I need that space for my Carnival or Blue Venom...leaning toward the Carnival as I have not had any luck at all with Blue Venom cloning.

The other notable change from last week is that, probably due to neglect, the CBD Shark Shock went all cloudy and started to get some amber in there. So we had a harvest Sunday night. Nugs are super dense. They are still going thud when dropped in the drying tray 3 days later.

Dry weight was an amazing 153g for her size.

Heya Grizz. Yeah, new Years was fun. Unfortunately, in order to be able to take the vacation days I ad without stressing over what I hadnt done, I was working 14 - 16 hour days, and was having trouble sleeping. Coupled with the last minute things that always crop up at the end of the year I just didnt have the time to relax and give all the amazing journals here the time they deserved. Next week should be back to normal....except for the plague :P

Congrats on your harvest BTW. I have to try that boiling water trick....and going through Rifleman's journal has me thinking about running a fogponic bucket in my flower tent as an experiment...so I have been around a bit :)

And I moved my Blueberry Mom in to replace the Shark Shock (because its one of my favs and no one left me any of the last one)

So all in all I didnt kill anything but the Royal Medic. I have more clones than I can use at the moment, and Im really hoping I can move out a few more Panama and a Blueberry or 3. I dont think Im even going to bother with the Royal Medic clones...Im just not impressed with her at all.

Get yourself some fresh fruit that will help you keep going through morning till noon in your work. It is important to feed your body living food to get some of that life into you. I got me through my 10 hour plastic welding shifts. Dates, ripe bananas, apples what you can get your hands on. I gave me boost like nothing. Eight bananas mixed with few dates, water, cocoa, vanilla. I ended up with 2/3 gal of liquid pleasure. Drinking that and tons of water and I was full of energy.

I got my Shark going and she looks fabulous. I can post a photo here if you do not mind.

I like your perpetual grow man, you got some great strains there. I've heard Blue Widow is one of the best strains for pain. Gotta check that. Cheers! :Love: :Namaste:

Heya Tom. All pictures are welcome here. Post away. :) I got through my day today with nearly a whole box of clementines. Just kept munching on them. Soothed my throat, and the vitamin C should help a bit. Now Im home a bit early and Im just going to relax. I feel a little better than I did yesterday, but its a very small bit. At least breathing is easier,

Yeah, Im not sure what happened to the medic. I guess with her thin leaves, she didnt have the reserves to get through. I'll use it for oil or something. She is very very sticky,

The Blue Dream I grew last year was a nute pig. Couldnt feed her enough. Even when I screwed up my measurements and overfed everyone in the tent, she only got little tip burn.

Im definately going to veg my plants a bit longer before throwing them in the tent to flower. Your Shark Shock will put mine to shame.

That shark shock, is that the one shanti did for cbd crew? It's feminised?
 
I just went over to cbd crew site.. they got a lot of mns strains feminised. Have to look now to see if shantibaba is working for them. This all a little strange, he was opppsed to fem breeding. None of his strains on his site are feminised.. now I'm confused. Is cbd crew mns? Feminised cbd side of breeding? Whatever not important, just interesting stoner coffeebook reading
edit: it's a joint venture between mns and resin seeds.
 
Flower Tent Update

FLOWER TENT UPDATE​

Well, another week has gone by and the Royal Medic is no more...no pics. The last one posted looks good enough. Not sure what to do with her. I set her up in a drying pan untrimmed. Maybe she will make some decent oil or butter.

Taking her place will be my Carnival mother...opening up the veg closet a bit more.

She is looking mighty lush. I'll give her a week to get used to her new 3g softie and then stake her down.


BLUEBERRY (Week 1)




May have snapped the top branch in my bending....looks intact, but there is floppiness. Hopefully it will heal.

HARLEQUIN (Week 8)





This one is nearly ready for the chop. Panama or Blue Venom will be taking its place. Still no luck on cloning Blue Venom :(

Been bouncing around to various yards today, and all I can say is ...WOW. Y'all have some sheer dankness going on!

Plant chores done, I will take my sick ass back to bed :P If I dont cough up a lung over night I will see you in the fields tomorrow :)
