Morglie's Perpetual: New Space & New Strains

All those new strains popped up in the last week or two and the Afghani were gone by the time I saw then. Even quicker than the Indian ones even.

I saw the new ones from the R&D page. Did you see the Cannatonic x Erdpurt is regularly coming out at 16%+ CBD and under 1% on THC? That's pretty cool. Now if only it didn't have that orange smell from the Cannatonic..... That plant reaks so much it was over powering the Bubba Hash and Killer when I cut them.

I haven't seen them. I've been a bit limited on different breeders as I've mainly ran Ace and done other random landraces.

I picked up the Dynasty gear though, so hopefully I'll find some nice indicas in there. I'll have to give JOTI a look. What does that stand for?

I have never run JOTI but have seen really mixed reviews. Some people despise them. Say they are not worth running at all, but then there are die hards that would run no one elses gear. I hope you end up in the latter category. I am pretty sure they have a couple of variations of blueberry on their menu.
I have read a few stories of how they left and came back after some jail time....I think the company fell apart with that and the last few years they have been rebuilding what was lost.

I see people on Instagram growing out thier stuff....and it all looks really great. This summer I will be trying out this summer.

Fingers crossed I like their stuff cause the price and freebies are the best ever.

Thanks! I've heard of them but I don't think I've ever looked at their strains.

Well, I'm hoping the Huckleberry will scratch the blueberry itch. If not, in not to worried about the blueberry. I've ran seedsman and Stankberry which uses seedsman's version as well. And from what I've heard about blueberries I'm not that worried about finding any. I'd rather focus on the Kush dankness in the indicas.

Urban Achiever has grown some JOTI :)
I will have a look at some of their journals then....

I see a DBHBB grower on Instagram always growing it....theborn it something like that. Since I have been on Insta and seeing that JOTI stuff....I have been buying it up. They do a free 12 pack for every order.....so buying a pack every couple months is my plan. They are super cheap (30+ regular seeds for $65 CDN!!!) and helps the seed buying addiction always having something in the mail

Thanks! I've heard of them but I don't think I've ever looked at their strains.
They have some interesting old school BC genetics happening over there for sure. The big one is the God Bud (Hawaiian x Purple Skunk)...they also have the Texada Timewarp that used to be a favorite of mine (and everyone else around) when I lived on the coast.

The born use to post here, just ask him and I am sure he will tell.you.
I know he has run gear from many breeders.
I have several of JOTI's selections but have not run any yet.

I have seen some pictures in recent months of people running their gear and it does look very nice! I hope they turn out to be a winner for ya bud!

Yeah I was more so just answering seedling with that. I gave my break down of the Huck Kush before that. I truly hope you find a wonderful keeper from your pack. I have a pack of Salmon River OG I want to run at some point. That is supposed to be a fantastic cross but it is another cross with Bubba in it.

I've heard of God Bud before. I may have to pick up some of those. They sure have a lot of variations using certain strains. It looks like they have their entire library from years of crosses up in their site.

I'm excited to try the Huckleberry. I've eyed Dynasty gear for a while, and that and the Pineapple Fields have always really drawn my attention. Unfortunately, they're out of the Pineapple. I need to hunt out a good pineapple strain at some point. I've had some that was overpoweringly pineapple flavored and I enjoyed it. I've been wary about some of the specific flavored strains after finding out that I don't like orange flavor in cannabis. I can deal with hints of it, but full on orange smell turns me off.

My Pineapple Fields was nice. I really need to search through the rest of my pack and find the pineapple juice pheno. That was the one I was hoping for. I think I may have gotten the pineapple roadkill pheno but cannot be certain. I hope you and the family have a good Christmas bud!

Thanks Yeti.

I smoked a pineapple strain with a friend several years ago when I first started growing and the Pineapple in it cleared the sinuses like menthol. I don't know what strain it was as he just gets cuts from another friend, but it was pretty tasty. Definitely a different taste for cannabis.

You're welcome bud. I have heard of people finding some nice pineapple phenos of Pineapple Chunk and Pineapple Express. I am not a huge fan of Barney's Farm, but I have seen a very nice example of the Pineapple Chunk. It did not smell of pineapples, but it was very potent!

They're one of the breeders I try to avoid if I can. I think it was Pineapple Express, but I don't know for certain. Who knows. I've got a collection of seeds already. Just keep wanting to get more.

I hear you on the seed collection thing. I need to try putting a dent in mine lol.

Neiko I have only run their Tangerine Dream but it was one of the worst things I have ever run. Aside from having the largest stock I have ever seen, she barely put out any weight, was super finicky, and was the most susceptible to PM out of anything I have run. What I did get off of her was terrible. I also had multiple plants die after getting to 1.5 to 2 feet tall out of no where with no signs anything was wrong until they died. A guy I know also grew out some Liberty Haze from them that was awful too. I just feel like all of their descriptions couldn't have been further off from what I have seen grow from their seeds. The one exception being the Pineapple Chunk, that while fantastic carried none of the pineapple scent they are supposed to carry. I hope the Purple Punch you run turns out great. I have 1 or 2 more Purple Punch S1s from In House left to run. teh first one would have been great if it did not herm horribly lol.

Barney's get a bad rap. I've run quite a few of them and they've all been really good except for the tendency to throw fertile nanners. The Dr. Grinspoon and Pineapple Chunk stand out for me. I'm trying their purple punch now.
Yea, I don't have personal experience with a lot of different breeders, I'm only going off of what I've heard many times, which is why I'm hesitant to just randomly pick something.

I need to start picking though some more of my collection. I think I'll stop some Crockett Dawg while I wait for my Dynasty gear to get here.

I can't believe I forgot about the Tangerine Dream. That one didn't hermie and was a favorite for a while. I grew it on my 1st non high brix grow and it was a picky thing and you're right it didn't yield well at all. I re-grew it in high brix and it was night and day. That plant thrived and turned out excellent. I think they've changed it now though. It used to marketed as a sativa hybrid then the description changed and showed Afghan in it. I grew some of those and the plants were ok but the buzz was diminished. I saw a recent description of it and they now have removed the Afghan and list A5 haze as a parent. I kinda doubt that, it used to say Neville's Haze so I don't know what they're doing now.
