Does anyone here run a hydro cloner? Like this for example.
I've found all kinds of instructions on building them, but nothing on how to keep it healthy and sterile. I got several cuttings to root fairly quickly, but since then, I've had nothing but then slowly rotting, even right after a scrubbing and sanitizing a week ago. I've been using clonex for reservoirs and a bit of hydroguard, but I'm still having problems. This would be much easier to clone with than the regular bashing method I've used, but I can't seem to keep the cuttings happy in it.
On another note, the Kerala got watered today, so I snapped a couple of pictures while they were out.

A lot of variety as always. Get some nice indica, it comes hand in the evening. And Merry X-Mas 
I have heard nothing but troubles with sanitation with those type of cloners. I stick to the easy method of rapid rooters and see roots in about 10-12 days.

I've got a couple I found in my seed stash, but nothing that I haven't tried already.
I want to find something new. It's too bad all of the Afghani genetics that just showed up on Ace's site are already sold out. There's a northern Indian one left. I may pull the trigger on it. I know the Ace purchase will end up adding a few more sativas into my bank at the same time though, so I'm hesitating, as I'm already pretty loaded with them.

That's what I've always done. I've had some failures recently and the ones that are rooting have been taking 3-4 weeks sometimes. This looks like a great process, but I just can't seem to get this to work right.
There are a few things with the bubble cloners. First you need to keep the water on the cooler side. If it gets too warm it does not work well. The one I have has a fan blowing on the reservoir. You are also supposed to change the water at least weekly. I used some chemical in the water to keep algae from growing. I forget what it was since I have not used it in forever.
I have heard that a lot of people have issues and have to run bleach through them after every cycle in order to clean any nasty build up from the pump and nozzles. Peroxide is supposed to help as well.

Ah, the temperature is fairly high on mine. I think I'll try putting it on the cement floor. That should sap the heat from it.
On the indica genetics, Pakistan Valley from world of seeds is supposed to be very good pure indica. I have 2 of those which I’m lining up for next summer here. I think magicjim has one going at the moment (or someone... i think it’s Jim). Hopefully there’s some folks in here with some experience with World of Seeds gear, I’d be curious to hear it
I grew Afghan Kush from world of seeds. It was decent but it did not stay around all that long. I had better indicas to run at the time so it got dropped.

I've only tried the one seed of Paki Valley that died as a seedling and the several Kilimanjaro that never popped for me. I've not heard good things about them, but thought I'd give them a try. The best strain I have heard of from them is their Strawberry Blue and that even has mixed reviews. There are supposed to be a lot of mutants in the genepool, but the good ones are supposed to be fantastic. Even PotChimp rated it as having hair on its ass!

ACE just released a bunch of new strains. I see a lot of them are from the R&D section but a few I don't recognize. I just sunk a Black Domina x Nepal Jam from the R&D section. I went to their website as soon as I got the email about the Afghan genetics and they were gone. They must not have had very many if they sold all of them out in what, hours or a day?Thank you.

I've run Strawberry Blue and Amnesia from WOS and both were decent. Everyone that tried the SB loved it except me. I didn't find anything special about the high but the flavor was good. The Amnesia got run a few times, it was good. I ended up testing that one and it came back in the low 20's, it yielded well and overall I'd recommend that. Both those were freebies from about 5 years ago.

Thanks. I'm not in any rush though, I just wanted them. I like to order directly from them because I can ask for testers with my order

Has anyone here ever tried JOTI stuff? I am buying up some, but haven't had a chance to try growing any out. All thier recent stuff is collaborations with all the expensive breeders, but their seeds are the cheapest around.

All those new strains popped up in the last week or two and the Afghani were gone by the time I saw then. Even quicker than the Indian ones even.
I saw the new ones from the R&D page. Did you see the Cannatonic x Erdpurt is regularly coming out at 16%+ CBD and under 1% on THC? That's pretty cool. Now if only it didn't have that orange smell from the Cannatonic..... That plant reaks so much it was over powering the Bubba Hash and Killer when I cut them.
I haven't seen them. I've been a bit limited on different breeders as I've mainly ran Ace and done other random landraces.
I picked up the Dynasty gear though, so hopefully I'll find some nice indicas in there. I'll have to give JOTI a look. What does that stand for?
