Morda Grows Blacken Blueberry Rose With The ZE250 Sponsored By ParfactWorks

No no, Morgans is a local business to me. They own DairyDoo, who makes the VegieBlaster and BloomBlaster you have.
I used their vegetable potting mix last year.

Ohhhh yeah Morgons Composting! Doh. LOL My brain didn't make the connection. I'm just old and slow sometimes.

Next summer we are getting a bulk delivery for all outdoor beds. I'll be stealing some for these plants too. I did not get to put my plastic on the green house this year. Just keep getting sidetracked as fall hit, and couldn't during the heat of summer. I'll be using in there too.

How did you like that soil? The bulk stuff my wife wants to get with her tax money is very reasonably priced. She wants 5yrds it will be about $350 delivered.

It worked well for me, I’ll be getting a few yards of it in the spring time too. Mostly for the yard and a vegetable garden.

I’ve been tossing around the idea of making a 4x4 raised bed and going for a “low til” style grow. And I was going to try using it as the base for it.

I haven’t decided 100% yet though.

We have 3 20'x3' beds made from old pallet wood. The wife wants me to make more around the yard.

Our soil is crap here, we live on the west side of the state in sandy area. If I scrape the top soil down 2" I get all sand. Great for drainage... to good. LOL

Girls are looking B-E-Autiful Morda!

Question - the summer heat in AZ: Around our parts here in the mid-Atlantic, the running joke about AZ’s summer heat is “but its a DRY heat!” Is AZ summer heat dry? Ours is morbidly humid!
It's a very dry heat compared to places back east. I've lived in the Phoenix area since 1983. Came here from Chicago. Huge difference in Humidity. I can't get my humidity over 28% without a humidifier unless it happens to rain.

I’m in the middle of the state but my yard is completely sand as well. It’s a bummer.
Makes digging easy for the kids though. So they enjoy it enough.
Little heathens are worse than moles.
I live in a valley area, all around me is good farm soil and I get the sand. LOL I hear yeah on the easy to dig though. Way better than the clay I had in Kzoo where I lived before getting this place when the folks passed. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I'm very lucky to have this place.

So I was doing some leaf tucking on Audrey III and saw This!

 HELP! What is this?

Could this be a Zink issue? It is the only thing on the charts that comes close to describing it...
Or...
A bug of some kind? it is only on the one branch that I can tell ATM.

Maybe I just need to start adding nutes? She is drinking a lot of water.

They don't look hungry to me. They aren't yellowing saying they need fed. Looks like a pest issue to me. Maybe there was more than just the one you found. Something is eating holes in the leaves. I had a fly in my tent that ate a hole in a leaf just recently. But that doesn't look the same as mine did. Is it Thripes that get inside the leaves & leave those trails?
Have you tried putting a flashlight to the back side of the leaves while looking at the top side ? Suppose to be able to see the bugs that way. Never tried it though.

I took a pic of the bottom side and only saw 1 spider. But, where there are spiders there is food. It could be the Thrips, just didn't look like Thrip damage to me... I'm still at a loss on this one. :(

Here is the underside image. I left it full size in case someone sees something I missing.

Corrugated tin fences with a clear view to the neighbors...never seen that before!

I would say it's time Safers! Hard for me to guess on the nutes as between your home made soil and the dairy doo mix, it's well beyond what I'm used to seeing.
The fence is their doing, something his wife saw on Pintrest. LOL
Thanks to you I will have that in my arsenal tomorrow. I will be right on it when it comes in too. :high-five: Like you and @Buds Buddy have said, it don't look like a nute issue. If it is something munching on them the Safers should do the job. I guess the only other thing it can be is some type of disease maybe... I know it is not the dog this time because it was under a big fan leaf. Who knows maybe the spider already ate the sucker. Anyway here is the girl after the leaf tuck. Her branches are getting to the point I tuck the big fan leaves under them.

It's looking pretty happy otherwise!

If that were my neighbor's I would go down to Tractor Supply, get some corrugated tin, and cut pieces just big enough to cover the openings!
That makes me feel better.

If it were me I would tare it down. LOL I dislike fences but, yeah fences make for good neighbors they say. It don't bother me so much and keeps our dogs out of each other yards. When they first moved in their dog made a beeline for our house and ran in when we opened the door to bring groceries in. Our Dog in turn made a beeline for them the same day. Ahhh chaos in the country.

Fall on the lake, this why I love it here so much. You just can't beat Gods country!
