Morda Grows Blacken Blueberry Rose With The ZE250 Sponsored By ParfactWorks

Beautiful pup my friend.
Hope you are doing well.
I just lost my boy Chewy, heartbreaking.
Stay safe.
Bill
So sorry about Chewy - I know its the price we pay for the love they give us, but it never is easy to say goodbye :(

Sorry for your loss Bill. I know the feeling all too well. The house just wasn't the same without my dog. Had to put him down due to cancer a few months ago. I felt like the house echoed without him around. About a week ago I seen a Pekingese on Craigslist & he looked so much like my other dog I had to have him. He's my new pride & joy now. I named him Weezer as I didn't like the name Maverick. He's starting to answer to the new name. Here's a pic of him.

Adorbs!

There are so many things we did together I never realized.
Now I expect him to be there and then I realize he is gone.
It's proving harder to get over this than I thought.
Everyone here is so supportive it's a big help.
Thank you my friend.
Stay safe.
Bill
I am feeling the exact same. I have many pets that I Loved and miss very much. Nothing was like that bond I had with her. Being able to talk about it helps a lot too. That bond can change you ways you don't expect.

Yes having a new pup helps ease that pain some. I don't expect Mary Jane to replace my Nome, nothing can. I just hope that I can create a firm bond with her and let her be herself. They all have their own personalities and bring joy to us and us to them. We need to hold that in our hearts while we take on new loves into our lives.

I must have missed something. I thought both of your dogs were still alive & you just gave one to a friend. Misunderstood I guess. Sure seems weird that a lot of dogs died lately. I have to wonder if any of this has to do with COVID maybe weakening their immune system. Sorry to hear about Nome. Yeah, nothing can replace the love of the other; but the new dog helps me not think about it as much. He's already became my best friend... following me from room to room. Could be because he likes what I feed them.... lol. They eat real food. I boil Chicken & rice & mix in other veggies. Add a little Chicken Broth. They love it. At $1.00 per can of dog food it costs almost the same to make something better for them.

My dog Sadie just stole and ate 2lbs worth of chicken, corn, cheese and enchilada sauce off the counter that was already mixed for dinner tonight. I set it out to thaw and she stole it while Hubby and I were laying down.

Bad dog!!!!

I'm sorry too for your loss as well @Buds Buddy , it does seem like many members have recently lost a loved pet. Doubt covid has anything to do with that, just age and ailments.

Sounds like he is getting good eats! :D

No worries, Nome is the Red Heller we had for 13 years she passed back in Feb loosing her battle with diabetes, Bella is the Jack Russell we gave to a friend, and the newest addition is Mary Jane a (for now) little Pitty. Hard for me to keep track of them all too sometimes. ;) Right now Mj is getting puppy chow, it is what we can afford. Not the best but, I think better than canned food. The canned food has a lot of salt and sugars in it.

Time for a Doggy Time Out so she can digest all that food!

Nope - she still wanted her dinner - and I couldnt feed Bekah and NOT Sadie … so Sadie just got reduced rations

Ok Back to Audrey III :meatballs:

Yes I'm going to rename it Audrey III Just sounded fun! :D

My plan was to top at 5 and as fluid as these things can be, it is now:
Just at 8 nodes
9 1/4 inches tall
Grew 3/4 inches over night

I have topped before but, it was kinda just snip and done. Did not put a whole lot of thought into it. So, I'm asking the people that top what the best plan of action would be?

What would you do in this case...
Would you Cut above Node 8 at this stage or would you wait so you could cut below Node 9 (Like I show below node 8 now)?
If I were to make the top cut now would that be FIMing?

Node Cut At 08 Nodes Full-2.jpg

And on a side note, I'm not going to do anything for now with the rest, just water as I have been.

Omg he looks like Falcor from The Neverending Story!!!!

@InTheShed I think you would like this, I did some leaf tucking on the bottom. Some of the leaves at the bottom were in the way and semi touching the dirt. So, I tucked them around the branches that were that were near them. This way I wouldn't need to pluck them.

Also been looking at charts all day. You may be right in this not being a Cal issue with the other plants. Could this be a K issue and just need to boost the Potassium? What do think?

OMG he is adorable.
Could not have been a worse time to loose our little fella.
After all we have been through the last couple months.
I understand about th3 house being empty without him.
Weezer what a great name for him.
I hope you have him for a good long time, healthy and happy. :green_heart:
Thanks for the pics I'll be smiling all morning. :)
Stay safe my friend.

Nice tucking! Anything you can do to keep them off the soil is a good thing. I'd rather pluck them than have them touching the soil.

I don't think it's a deficiency at all at the moment. I do think that you will run into a cal-mag issue soon though because there isn't any in your soil or nutes. I'm not a build-a-soil grower, but I do know that the folks who do it well are very specific about their mixes.

In terms of when to top, that's totally personal and completely dependent on how much height and width you have, what kind of training you're going to do, and how long you plan on vegging!

Now I'm confused. Not by what you said but, what I had been thinking all this time. I wanted to show where I had seen that D-Earth worked as a calcium and silica, found nothing. :( I found that it is only really good for silica, Water retention in my sandy soil. This would be part of my problem then. I need to rethink things a bit now when I amend my soil next time. I hate it when I do that to my self. I don't know how I got that stuck in my brain but, I'm flushing it out of memory. LOL Good thing I have some Cal-Mag handy, as you said I will need it. (Smacks forehead with DOH Stamp)

To be honest not sure how long to veg, my understanding is it doubles in height when in flower. With my setup I have 3' to 3 1/2' total that would give me 1 foot for veg and 1 foot for flower. Light specs say min of 12" -18" for flower I'm getting close to that one foot so I'm thinking I would need to top soon. I was going to use LST and some HST if needed to bring the branches down an out to the sides of the bucket. Not wanting to go too far from the bucket size allowing about 1 1/2 foot circumference per bucket.

My goal in not yield, it is seed generation. This grow is to give me the F2 of these seeds. (First Brother Sister cross). So I don't need big plants, just healthy ones.
