Ha. I did forget something. Lol ppm going in was 500 incuding tap water which had ppm of 300.

Awesome buds and food Moonshine! You'll have to try my canna-mofongo one day
Lookin good shine!Backing off on the nutes are ya? Because 200 PPM of nutes in flower is really low! And since your runoff was only 165 PPM higher than than the water going in, you don't need to go low.
Lookin good shine! Hijack a bit, Shed, I'm doing ppms in out but not sure what I'm trying to achieve. This post looks like you have info or a process that could help me understand! I though u didn't take ppm of the feed water when it comes out the medium. Lol. So I was flushing with my base water ppm then feed ppm. Thanks guys!

Sorry if I was confusing Lowded. I don't take the pH of runoff, but I definitely take the PPM. (This is for soil, which is all I grow in.) In the most basic nutshell, if PPM out is less than PPM in, you can up your nutrient concentrations unless the plant is showing nute burn. If the PPM out = PPM in you are in stasis and you can leave it there unless you have a reason to change it (like raising it over time to see if the plant is ready for more). If PPM out is higher than PPM in by a lot, you have excess nutes in the soil and might want to consider reducing the PPM in by half over the next few waters to see if you can get back to stasis. If that's not working, then you can flush with plain water and then go back to adding nutes with the next water and see how it goes!
Each stage of growth will have a different target for PPM, higher as it goes.
All this will depend on the health of the plant obviously. If you're plant looks great but runoff is high, why mess with a good thing. Then if just becomes something to keep an eye on.
Note: PPM in would be the total of your water + the nutrients you put in. I measure before I add the Big Bloom which doesn't really count as a nutrient and adds a lot of PPM, and then I measure again after I add it, so my runoff numbers will be accurate.
I hope this helps, and is the most basic system for using PPM.
The post made sense, I'm new and just starting to read and learn so tye most basic of things is a struggle for me lol. Thanks for everyone's patience.
That really makes sense. I'm I'm promix HP. Should be kinda the same? I just did my first feed after a flush and now I have some numbers to review at next feed/water. This info is excellent!
