Mono's Perpetual Soil

A little look at the low stress training progress. There is another four weeks of veg left to go, two months in total from seed :)

:peace:

I think now the regular plants have had enough stunting and stalling for their lives. I plan on a flip to 12/12 date of January the 1st, so just over four weeks left of vegetative growth.

I am happy with the height of the plants, the under carriage is nice and clear. They also seem to be taking on some form of structured shape, so it seems like a good time to allow them to bush up and out.

Hope to get the screen back over the sage n sours as soon as the first auto is done. No later than the week before christmas, so might be an early harvest for one of them.

:Namaste:

I will try and get some pics when the hps flicks off in an hour or so :)

Just a suggestion, Mono ...

There's a really interesting hood (search for "Vertigro") that will get the most out of a 600W. Check out maybe buying a setup with the cheapazz reflector and adding the superhood - 'bout $250 total.

I've had my eye on it - already have the cheapo setup.

I have had a search on the net and can't seem to find the hood on any uk sites. Is it a relatively new thing?

i'm just in time for the update. that plant is still stretching like a beast!

Check the 'bay. It's on there today. It's called "Thunder Vertigro". It's a knockoff of an original (more expensive) design called Growlite OG that won some competitions - you can find the test on the yootube.

[Edit] I totally gapped out the fact that you're in Scotland. Yeah, nothing on the UK site. Too bad, it's a well designed hood.

I had a look on the US sites, looks like a really good hood! Shame to buy and post here would be rather expensive.

I'm certainly going to keep my eyes open for one!
