Thanks Dirtbag :passitleft: welcome man..

thanks pat and welcome mate :passitleft:

Hey Grizz, those new cobs you're using, what can you tell me about them? Specs, price where to buy? Are they any good. I ask because I need to upgrade and ATM I'm looking at my diy options with cobs, well within my skill range, it'll be down to cost over time spent, you know, being a tight arse is a commitment.

Goggle panda grow cree3590, youll get info you need.. that ones $249au single cob $132.5au

I like them mate.. if I was smart I would have asked if they come 3000k... these are 3500.. good for both veg-flower.. I'm adding extra 15w square foot, will add some bulk hopefully..

Cool. I'm looking at making a new fixture using the same cobs, 9 cobs at 300 watts, will cost about $500, won't look as pretty, but its a start.

Thanks kingjoe..
G'day Ditchweed.. :passitleft: im changing it up a little from previous... out of the soil indoors (which is what I know but I need a shed to ammendend pot up etc, too messy in my house) and into hempys. Also I've stayed long enough with this low watt growing, so adding more light, girls should look better in the future..
Velk, welcome mate :passitleft: we like to get jiggy in here :passitleft:
Hey Norcal.. thanks mate.. damn talk about very nice, your last update (get over there peeps if your not subbed) freaking beautiful.. mate the seasons looking really good for you :thumb::passitleft:

Thanks for the invite man : Sorry it took me so long to pop by. Work is kicking my tail the last few weeks. Im loving the photo dump of all the seeds I have to play with :) Mango Widow 3 is coming down thins week when I have a chance...she's nice but I can do better next time..I have 4 clones of her. Early Skunk is almost dry enough to have a taste of...

Keep the pics coming. I want to know what to drop next...after I do a run of Nis' Devil Carnival...pretty plant.

:peacetwo:

Hey mouser:passitleft: thanks mate, I thought you might be interested. It'll take a bit with the heavy sats to work them out but once they dialed in :):):):) I've seen a couple good posts on best time to harvest.. I'll try to find..

I want to crack shit now also :rofl:

When breeding Skunks I used a very effective method. I'd spray the males with ethylene (it's the same hormone that comes off ripening fruit) a few times until they partially reversed. Enough to show me gland structure, resin production and smell.

If you want to talk about genetic bottlenecking, SK1 is a classic case. The best line that I got from Sam, was pretty bloody good. I would say that that was his crowning achievement. I separated 2 lines from the best single parent mating, and kept them appart. One line had Red labels and the other Blue. I kept doing single parent matings using the above mentioned tek. The plan was to put them back together and then give them out. I'm sure that SB has used these wisely.

For pure sativas or sat dominant strains I recommend to let up to 40-50% of the trichs turn amber. This is personal preference of courseI remember a post from Shanti talking about Nevs Hz where he said that he leaves em to amber up to 80% sometimes.I dont have personal experience with NH yet but I do have experience with landrace sativas and sat dominant hybrids , and the general rule of thumb says.. leAve those sats to fuUully mature

Unlike with indicas, sativas do 'get better' as they are let to mature and I personally prefer them almost overripe. The high n potency doesnt change so drammatically like with inDicas during/within the 'harvest window'.The high changes of course as the resin matures , the high becomes longer lasting etc but with sativas I find the extra wait is definitely worth the extra wait ..while with indicas you can chop early without much 'loss'

Iam sure those will smoke great , By the way were these from seed or clone?

Have fun!

would be good to get a photo to see what we are looking at.But the NH is pretty ripe at 60% coloration to the resin glands. how long are the clones taking from the mothers? Is it a shorter cycle?
All the best stay safe Sb
