MNS - My New Spot

Got my watts meter delivered today.. tested my veg lights.. thought I was running around 200w in there.. only 140w... 15w square foot.. how the fuck are these plants growing.. no wonder they take forever to get into veg. My old light (ones that break) were exactly as the manufacture stated, 80w. The panda light I recently got is stated at 120w, it's only 60w.. I'm hanging to test my flower tent. But I'm thinking flower tent is going from what I thought was 400w to 240w, in a 4x4, 15w square foot... I'm pissed at the deception but over the moon with the ability of the lights.. also starting to make sense now the drop in temperature.. I'm getting 260 average out tent, miserable .65 and feeling useless at the g/w game.. if it is 240w, then what I've been trying to hit. thinking I was failing at miserably, I might actually be achieving..
 
Nice buds for 15w per sq.ft. My best 2 tomato plants outdoor are the ones that arent getting direct sunlight yet because of the fence. Hard to figure because you look at plants under 1000w hps lights and they are always the best hardest biggest buds. So more at play than just watts per sq.ft maybe. And are all watts equal? So id say you are probably acheiving.
 
Not all watts are equal.. I've always believed that you could save 1/4 off the power most with mid range leds, really I would suggest swapping watt for watt.. these Cree leds now have me thinking there could be a greater saving.. my thoughts have always been hPs bulk led earlier resin. I had ordered more lights a couple of weeks ago, thinking they were a really good cheap option. Now I've got to work out if they are any good for a more expensive light.. I'm all confused now.. also, Ive got to find out where my power is going, if not in my growroom :rofl::rofl:
 
Think i am the only australian happy with my electricity bills atm, so dont ask me... maybe your neighbour is tapped into your meter box running his own grow... lmao
 
Off topic, but I found the ultimate shoes :rofl: this is for Aussies of my era. Been looking everywhere for years for rollers. Anyone remember them? walked into a shop today, there on the shelf, whilst not rollers nor do they have that ant saving sole but the closest thing I've seen in 25 years, Wild Rhino Phoenix... now I just have to find them in my size :rofl: it was such a tease for me :rofl:
 
My power isn't too bad.. I'm actually with one of the only power companies that their customers are happy with :rofl: I was only talking about this to an electrician a couple weeks ago. I said to him that I liked my power company, and he said ' you must be with power shop, only people I hear who don't complain about their power' :rofl:
 
Rollers were like a desert boot.. just a little more city than county :rofl:

I just got my electricity bill and was about $516 for split system heating over winter, electric cooking and all the grow lights. And sundries. But $272 if i pay my bill on time so thats pretty good hey? The discount is what makes it good for me.
 
Who you with? It's all about the early pay savings for me. I wouldn't have an opinion if I didn't save money :rofl:
 
I get 3% off + another 33% off for paying on time with energy australia. Had to ring and push them tomatch deals tho. They didnt offer it. They work on ripping off peiple that dont know better by having all these deals. Its out of contol. The govenment is going to try and fix it, but you watch, bet the price goes up. They assume that everyones pay goes up at the cpi. Sure if you work for the government. People in the private sector are lucky if thier pay isnt going down. Its topsy turby...

So I've gone from feeling like I was achieving something with my grows, back to 'no I aint, loser' :rofl: flower tent isn't at 400w but isn't at 240w either :rofl: 360w. Another panel will be perfect for my area.. not sure what's going on with the small one though,why it's only 60w.

Ha ha, 80's boganware, gotta love it. All you need to find now are skintight Fabergés, a black tshirt and your set.
 
Saw a young chick the other day with some stone wash, so they have come back at some stage.. you havent bought new jeans lately? Went to get some from a surf shop. Impossible to find ones that fit, legs are so tight and when you sit your arse comes out.. they are shitful..
