Micro Grow

Right on, how will you be growing this round Gaz??


Looks like I will be doing a 12 plant scrog. Got 6 bottles and realized I can fit 6 more.

Just gotta touch up with some white paint and I'd love to figure out a drip system but drainage has me scratching my head. Thoughts?

Will most likely be as usual and run 2 Plants in SCROGs (10 gal pots, DBHB soil) set to flower at top of net and usually gives me 6" to 8" colas and a total Dried weight of between 6 and 8 Oz (usually on the higher end)
in my 2 x 4 foot floor space
 
Sounds great! I miss growing in hb soil. Stuff in docs gear always comes out fire.

Alright, I'm leaving Friday and thought it's a good time to start.

Thanks ween! I plan to reuse the bottles so it just makes it cleaner for next round.

Welcome Masn, if you plan to sog in 2l you could probably fit at least 18. My box is smaller then 1'x2" by a few inches. I'd look into figuring out draining and an auto water system. Pulling out 12 plants and watering by hand is gonna get old for me. If this doesn't work out for me then I'll do a scrog but I'll really need a watering system for that.

Thanks each! I cant wait :passitleft:on dispensary stuff for a only a few week and I'm done. Its hit and miss but I just paid $50 for 5Gs of the harshest stuff. I dont even enjoy smoking it. Will be nice to be on home grown again.

Hey Masn I'm using some lights from a previous sponsor from about year back. I dont see them on the sponsors page but I would think light tech has been optimized since I've gotten this one. Check out our sponsors page. I really like the quantum boards, but I've been out of the game and dont know if anything better is out now.
 
If those grow like hazes you might be adding a penthouse onto your grow cabinet.

You're going to be growing those plants out in there, not stocking your cabinet with clones from (some of?) them? When I first started reading the thread, I assumed (oops) that you were going to be running rooted cuttings in a flowering setup, maybe something like this:

Hey TS! Man I hope they dont lol but if they get crazy I'm sure I'll be able to find someone to gift it to. This is all the space I got for right now.

The cab is only 3' I honestly have no idea how a sog of clones would do but I do plan on taking clones for the next sog. I'm doing a 12/12 from seed sog. I may have to stick to 12/12 from seed and seed every time which i hate doing but may be my only option.

It's my first micro sog grow so hoping for the best, thanks for the well wishes

With clones, assuming they're (just-)rooted when you place them into your cabinet, can enter their flowering phase more or less immediately. With plants grown from seed, even under 12 hours of darkness per day, they'll be in the growth phase for a while, and then when they become mature, will begin flowering. With height restrictions, I'd jump right on option A, lol. You'd still have the flowering stretch, but you'd have that to deal with, regardless. It'll require a mother/clone space, but for such a small grow space, mini-mothers in Solo cups or comparable would probably be adequate. Two-liter bottles might be better, or even one-gallon containers, but probably not necessary. Some low wattage residential CFLs or LED bulbs would be enough to maintain small mothers and illuminate a small clone station. This would also allow you to run a perpetual harvest if you so desire.
 
Oh, their so cute when they're small. They haven't started talking yet, and their crawling hasn't taken on aspects of military helicopters flying low (with threat-avoidance radar engaged)...

Ohwaitaminute. Seedlings. They're cute, too ;) .
